I noticed that if I scale up a building by editing the .BAM file, the building is only enlarged graphically. It is not changed for gameplay purposes. Is there a graceful way to disable promotions/experience in a multiplayer scenario, either within the editor or via script editing? Also, can I preset the level of troops in a scenario?

This is definitely very useful. I'm actually not a music guy for these kind of games, but (and pardons if this is old hat to you all) I plan on replacing the battle music with ambient world war II combat sound (a distant battle) to add to the atmosphere.

What you need is an icon asset. In squads.csv, there is a column for each unit that indicates the icon asset associated with it, entitled "IconID". You need to have a .DDS file associated with that unit, otherwise it shows the weird image there (because it can't find what it's looking for....

I think they may use the height tag to force them up in the air (if they do then you could create your own version at ground level) - if not then it is built into the model and so isn't easily doable.
