At the rate the remaining FOG-R 15 events in 2020 as still be cancelled / postponed, it looks like this one, plus OWS on 11 Oct (Campaign 2020 is FOG-R 25mm) are about the only 2 events remaining on the calendar for 2020!

Hoping I can still get to the OWS one, otherwise not going to have managed a competitive FOG-R 15mm outing since the March 28th "lockdown"!

Hi Trev

Not sure what the roster is looking like right now, but I heard this afternoon that I might be able to make Saturday as an entrant, but I wont likely know until the very last minute.

As a precaution that I might show up, I have sent my list to Ray for checking (I know I am 24 hours late!).

I joining last minute will complicate matters, let me know and I will hopefully see many of you at the OWS ECW day on 11 October.

Thanks Dave, We look forward to seeing you there. That will give us 8, which I believe means it counts for rankings as well.

With today's HMG announcement of the new "max 6 people for gatherings" rule, looks like we held this event just in time! David(B)

We would have been ok Dave, as we are under pubs and clubs regulations. So as each table is a seperate group we had 4 groups of 2.

But I do agree, I'm glad we did it when we did.

Well it just goes to show how confusing the new rules are as the OWS 11 Oct day was reduced to 6 (but is a club in a hall) so bemused by the difference.....

Maybe its because we have a bar, even though I was the only one to use it!

We had a 6th ed WRG tournie this weekend, with an extra table of FoGR. Total of 12 players - split into two rooms, so only 6 in one room at any one time.

I also checked everyones postcodes prior to the event. 16 original entries - 3 pulled out voluntarily, 2 were told not to come owing to their own areas restrictions, and I pulled out to even up the event. Meant I could play FoGR with Quint instead. 3 more players are/have taken up FoGR in our club now!

Bar was open as well, so we could have had more! The space was nice to have though.

I am hoping to see tier reductions in the next few days, and if this happens hopefully we will be able to re-open for some sort of event soon. Is anyone looking forward to getting some gaming in (FoGR), or are you wanting to leave it a bit longer. Obviously some have already seen our facilities, and are aware of how we can do an event.

Hi Trev

I really enjoyed my trip to Polly Bowls earlier this year (one of the few outings all year!) and so would be good to do one again if you are prepared to organise!

I have Godendag 2021 in the calendar for 16-17 Jan; and that is likely to be the only event I will manage to get to in Jan - assuming we can go ahead - but something in Feb onwards could be good!

Wishing all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

There will be one, but I suspect at the moment, everything is still being cancelled.
