Hi,

Jerry Bray and Paddy Bray are both members of the Oxford Club.

They are shown as "mercenary" as they often play in teams put together by Aasdair who also belongs to the Oxford Club.

Does that mean the Oxford Club has nearly all the top spots!!!!

Bob

Bob

Assuming you mean Alasdair H., the list I have has him down as a member of the Southampton club. I will change the Bray's.

Please find the rankings, sorry about format but I have not been able to organise a better one, will try harder for May. Please advise of any errors or omissions, especially clubs as that is how we track duplicates. These will be on the BHGS site at some point.

The FoGR national rankings have been updated on the BHGS site (thanks Matt). They include every UK comp for which we have results since the rules were published, up until 24th July. Rollcall 2010 has rolled off, achieving the distinction of being the first BHGS comp to offer FoGR two years in a row.

To find the results go to http://www.bhgs.co.uk/, click on the 'Rankings' button, and then 'FOG Renaissance NATIONAL RANKINGS'.

There are now 71 players included in the rankings but Alasdair Harley continues in the No. 1 slot, now joined in the top 3 by two others from the Oxford club.

The only comp we are aware of that is missing is Luncarty. If anyone knows of any other missing competitions, please let me know how I can obtain the results. Also, please let me know if there are any errors, especially if I have listed the wrong club (as that is how we distinguish between people with similar names).

Updated UK National Rankings including Britcon have been produced. As soon as they are loaded on the BGHS site I will let everyone know.

If only I had the Luncarty results as well...

Updated to 30th November up on the BHGS site. I will not spoil the surprise of the leaderboard but suffice it to say I had to remove his umpire credit to prevent his ranking exceeding 100%...

87 players participated in a ranking tournament in the UK this past 12 months.

Theres a bit of an issue in these. Paul Greenwood and I have only played doubles at the same events. Amusingly, he is ranked 86th and I am ranked 59. If there is some credit /debit given to his general incompetence, I can understand this. However, as this would be very subjective, I think there has been some mistake in collecting or recording results. Tony

Richard

By going to http://www.bhgs.co.uk/ and selecting rankings, then 'FOG Renaissance NATIONAL RANKINGS' it navigates to http://www.bhgs.co.uk/rankings/FOG/fogr_rank2012.htm

This says 'rankings to 31st Jan 2012'

Am I missing something?

Tony

Only incompetence is both mine and general (no surprise to my wife) as I had recorded Paul's result against Roger Greenwood. Roger will go down and Paul up next time. Thanks for pointing it out.

As for the second Comp, according to my records, you and Paul came 10th at Devizes last year and this is a 12 month rolling ranking. If it was another Tony and Paul I am happy to take the points off you both...

It's the taking part that matters, as I told Simon after my final game at Britcon last year...

No. My mistake. I looked at the FOGR rankings on FieldofGlory.com. However, it would be nice if those were updated too.
