I'll be posting at least 5 on my site,plus any others anyone cares to send me.

No guarantee any of them will be from near the top though....

Me too! Just 1 BG of cavalry to go - and then all the bases - yippee!

About half the infantry
All the Cavalry
Dragoons
Commanders
And do all the bases.

Generally thats the plan, especially when I play with the dagestanian which is 90% mounted, and tatars which is my next army, just not quite finished yet

With austrian at warfare I have some compulsory foot and arquebusiers so a few more option, not sure what to do with elephants though as I never met them yet in a renaissance game

don't imagine charging my Gendarmes at them will be successful, first job is avoiding all those players with modern technology (muskets that is) as I am dated in the 1500's

I'll let you know if I play them

They really get brutalized by firepower but i imagine you don't have many carbines or shooting pistols.

However, detailed analysis shows that a Scots Covenant army would be far superior* to any in the list.

Actually, my Iroquois seem to have been lost in the post and so I've had to switch to the only complete army I have that isn't cheesey Swiss.

This is advance notice that at least four players will this weekend be offered the opportunity to sign the Solemne League and Covenant for Defence and Reform of Religion, etc, etc. or face destruction by fire and sword.

I think it would be good to post lists used at tournament somewhere afterwards. It would help build international interest.

In the interest of supporting international interest here's my list:

Later Swedish (D&G) - 1696

2x4 Dragoons (Ave UA w/musket)
3x6 Average Pike and Shot (1 with regimental gun)
4x6 Superior Pike and Shot (all with regimental guns)
1x2 Med Art (Ave)
2x4 Allegedly Superior but not very Determined Horse (Armoured, Pistol/Pistol)
3 TCs
12 BGs, exactly 800 points.

Pike and Shot are all Unarmoured, 2 HF Pike, 4 MF Salvo+Bayonet

I also submitted a Detached Shot list in which the Average Pike and Shot split into 2x6 Shot BGs and 1x6 Pike BG.

It did - and the game I saw on Sunday morning was the first in which the buccaneers managed to fight on the coast with supporting ships. Simon wasn't actually saying "aah, shiver me timbers, Jim lad" but he ought to have been.

How did the Muslim Indians fare ? Did the bow armed units manage to hold their own or even beat up on shot & pike units ?

My Muslim Indians managed a credable 8th place.

My main problem was throwing dice, on sunday afternoon even my opponent was complaining about how bad my dice where.

I certainly learnt a lot about the army and will certainly use it again, but will change the organisation a bit.

My list was

1 x GC
1 x FC
2 x TC
3 x 2 Elephants
7 x 4 unarmoured, average, bow, sword, cavalry
2 x 6 unarmoured, average, bow , warriors
1 x 6 unarmoured, average, swordsmen, warriors
2 x 6 unarmoured, average, bow, light infantry
1 x 4 unarmoured, average, bombs

Simon did have a parrot on his shoulder but it was a Mike's Model's 15mm parrot so too small for you to see from that range...
