Now less than a month to go to the Oxford Round.

The list of players I currently have are: -

Paddy Bray Oxford
Jerry Bray Oxford
Tom Elsworth Oxford
Pete Simpson MK
Will Denham MK
Charles Masefield Oxford
Stephen Stead Central London
Isabel Stead Central London
Ray Boyles October
Brendan Morrissey Wessex WS
David Hewkin Wessex WS
Paul Marsh Wessex WS
Geoff Punshon Central London
Andy Kitcher Wycombe
David Eggleston Wessex
Paul Kitcher
Nigel Emsen
Bruce
Tim Porter Central London
Lynette Maxim Burton
Wayne Chalton Burton
Bob Medcraft Oxford

Please let me know if I have made a mistake.

If your name is not on the list and you want to play there are still 6 places available.

You will also note that there is no Alasdair or Ben so first place is totally open - Isabel, Will and Nigel can take the first three places.

Remember army lists emailed need to be posted to Tom Elsworth (t.elsworth@btopenworld.com) no later than 10th April 2016 allow him to check them all.
Once the lists are in I will post the final runners and riders and sort out the draw. In the first round I will try and stop Oxford players playing each other and try and stop parliamentarians playing each other.

Tom has had 17 out of the 22 lists he is expecting. I had hoped to publish the runners and riders plus sort out the first round draw.

So far 8 are for Parliament or are Covenanters thus leaving 9 for the King.

If nothing happens I will publish the runners and riders tomorrow.

Bob

Cor! More Cornish than Ginsters!

11 royalist, including Montrose...
Five parliament, 1 NMA, 2 Covenanters.

The side of justice and right are severely outnumbered!!

All players fielding Cornish should be obliged to provide either a complementary pasty or ice cream for their opponents!!

I have been asked by Tom to remind everyone that heavy or medium artillery must be in the first group of BG's to be deployed. Some of the lists he has received do not show this.
Those players who have not done so should amend their lists to show heavy or medium artillery at the top of their lists. There is no need to submit new lists to Tom as they are otherwise correct unless he has told you.

See you all Sunday.

Doth anyone commanding a Woyalitht Wapid Waiding Forth have to thpend the whole of Thunday thpeaking with a lithp?

I know there's a good (by which I actually mean very (VERY) bad) reason that nobody else brought NMA, but it was either that or Irish Confederates to ensure I didn't end up doing what I did last year and playing all three games against exactly the same army that I'd brought. And the Irish Confederates are so pants they belong in Moss Bros.

Me and my amazing wonder-dice will see you all on Sunday.
