Re: Oxford 15mm Competitions September 8th Late European Armies
Looks like we have 4 for this one.
SO round robin
Draw for first round all throw 1 die, highest two fight, lowest two fight
Second round, winners fight, losers fight
Third round fight the one thats left
1st Round 9Am
30 min gap between rounds, but if both games finish early the gap won't be more than 30 mins from the last game to finish, so may finish early if lots of death.
Ben Late Louis
Paddy Late Louis
Kieth Late Swedes
Jerry Late Danes

Re: Oxford 15mm Competitions September 8th Late European Armies
Well here it is the result of the Late European armies
No game lasted more than 1 3/4 hours we were finished by 2:45. I did suggest another round but was turned down. 4 players just going for it.
Rd 1
Keith 23 Ben 2 (my dice were horrible 6 failed death rolls in the first 8 attempts.)
Jerry 21 Paddy 4
Rd 2
Ben 19 Paddy 6 (Paddy disintegrated first but it could have been the other way)
Keith 17 Jerry 8
Rd 3
Ben 21 Jerry 4 (Both cavalry flanks won, and his centre was eventually defeated)
Paddy 19 Keith 6
Total
Keith 46
Ben 42
Jerry 33
Paddy 29
An unusual place for Paddy especially as his brother got more points than him for the first time ever!!

We also have a Tom in our club, so we have a lot of cat and mouse games with ice cream on the side.
