Landsknecht Keil too?

Post by pikeman666 »

These guys are required to use the Keil to aren't they? Is 12 pike (4x3) 2 heavy weapon and 6 LF a legal "recipe"?

Nobody is required to use Keil. If you don't want to, don't have two 4+ deep files of pike/HW. But since counting as Keil is lots of upsides and almost no down sides I don't know why you wouldn't want to.

I think the norm is BGs of Pike, with up to 2 bases of HW integral and aa seperate BG of LF, but i don't know the lists with landesknechts that well.

I think there was some talk of making the keil required, but I don't think it was ever made official.

You cannot have the LF in the same BG as the HF, because they are not so specified in the list. (See the appendix on using the army lists).
