Division A
Lysimachos (Judaeans) 37/72 batesmotel (Achaemenids) 45/44
Lysimachos (Judaeans) 48/72 deeter (Romans) 46/44
Two similar victories of numbers over quality, where generalship counted quite little ..

Div A result:
Klayeckles (seleucid) 44/56 vs deeter (roman) 40/38
a truely classic match up! numbers and a tiny bit of terrain advantage gave me the edge.

Div B - in the results and Lg Table I'm listed twice (with different armies and results...)

That yet for a while rivers may run clean and birds build their nests,
Ere Night comes.’

It is in Imperial B, Oskar. Aristides appears twice in the tables, once correctly with the Palmyrans and once incorrectly with the Sassanids (should be flatsix518 instead).voskarp wrote:Not in Classical -as far as I can see.Aristides wrote:Div B - in the results and Lg Table I'm listed twice (with different armies and results...)

Oops - apologies. Wrong thread - SP is correct, of course.

Division B
Londo (Graeco-Bactrian) 29/39 vs Ulysisgrunt (Attalid Pergamene) 42/41
Thanks to Ulysisgrunt and all my other opponents. All my matches are finished for the season.
Overall the G-B were a bit of a disappointment. Their phalanx is significantly weaker than those of the other successor armies. It was often difficult to deploy the extra heavy cavalry for advantage. And the Indians, as always, were useless.
Like Wile E. Coyote, it's back to the drawing board!

I have been unexpectedly called away for some days; should be back by the weekend. Apols for delay.

Re: Challenges & Results - Classical, season 10
2 WEEKS TO GO EVERYONE. 12 AUGUST IS THE FINISH DATE.
There will be no extensions as this season has gone 1 month longer than previous LOEG seasons. There are some players who still have 3 or 4 games to play . Please check all score sheets and ensure you have also posted your results on the relevant period thread.
Cheers Turk
