Div C

rexhurley (Syrian States) 21/41beat Epos (Mau Byzants) 38/34

The arrogant christian infidels soiled the lands of Allah and stood to engage rather than evading as intelligence would dictate, his arrogance cost him his life (and me on the first charge arghh) so my troopers were able to swarm through and around slaughtering all the dogs who defiled our holy lands.

Allah shall be merciful and I am now welcomed in my paradise and it is truly paradise, as for the infidel his carcasses bloat in the sun as his bones are scoured by the moving sands of the desert, ALLAH AKBAR!!!

Division C

Bagration1812 (Bosporans) 19/37 vs zumHeuriger (Ostrogoths) 45/41

Bosporans win.

Very tough matchup for the Goths. Bosporans had more armored lancers v. protected lancers. ZumH played it as well as he could. Thanks for the game.

Div A

iversonjm (Moldavians) 3/49 v. Massina_NZ (HYW English) 45/41

Massina's IC died in a fight, he broke player morale, and impaled himself.

Long time past not posted by my opponent (maybe I should steal his win since the infidel pig did it in the game...several units below 50% and weren't even disrupted bah)

Okie (Khom Byzants) 30/33 bt rexhurley (Syrian States) 42/42 may Allah be merciful on my failure

Flatsix, that is the most lucid explanation of the differences between tabletop and digital FOG I have heard yet. It needs to be cut and pasted into the wiki!

Dear God don't say that! Mr. The Thick will be insufferable! :D

It WAS a very nice explanation of the differences between the two games. I am working to bring a couple of friends along in the digital game who have never played TT ancients in any form and the learning curve is very steep. I can not imagine trying to wrap my head around the subtleties of the game without the benefit of some degree of TT experience.

Very much looking forward to the next season of LoEG and the new version of the rules. This has been great fun.

Cheers!
