We're very happy to hold games back to make them better as this makes them sell more in the long run, so it's a combination of good business sense and good customer service. We don't have the same retail deadlines that some people have to work to so are more free to move dates around.
Panzer Corps was released on the day we announced and we're only talking about a 4 day delay here
We didnt need to add these features and could have been done on time, but we wanted to get them in. I understand it can be a little frustrating to you guys at the time but you'll be gald of it when you have it!
In fairness, the first release date was October 20, 2011
Well back on topic (but MW3 will still rule!!
) I look forward to the DLC and don't mind the delay, Managed to squeeze through Normandy today by the skin of my teeth with a valiant defensive line around Paris, I was down to about 7 units by the end of the map, hung on like grim death for a marginal victory. That map is insane and criminal to watch your carefully nurted core army be destroyed by wave after wave of Allied armour and infantry. Their air power is also incredible. I now know how the German 7thy Army must have felt for real.....
God knows how I will get through the Ardennes with what I have left...

Unfortunately we found a bug over the weekend that is critical to propgression through connected campaigns
It was not caught until now as it happens so far in you need to complete the entire campaign and carry on to the next to see it.
We are going to have to remaster and this will cost us a few days. The only good news is we caught it before release.

dont sweat it; in some ways it good news as at least the testers are doing full end to end (multi campaign) testing.
i can assure you that with the release of later packs other issues will likely be found when playing from first campain to the n th one.
i myself cannot wait for the russian front campaigns; seeing your core army slowly ground down as I suspect might happen
