You have SE units in panzer corps. Soviet corps should have Guard units.

Also, lend lease equipment. Make american trucks available, and make them better than the Soviet counterpart.
Zhukov critized the junk they recieved in the lend&lease program with the exception of trucks. Without the trucks Zhukov would not have been able to maintain the speed he did.

I agree, excellent suggestion.

If you are making a soviet corps DLC, PLEASE fix the firing animations for soviet fighters... Their guns are NOT in the wings! (I-16 aside)

The Yak, La and MiG fighters ALL had nose mounted weapons, and nothing else.

This game is quite good in terms of historical accuracy, but that little discrepancy has annoyed the pants off of me.

For the German translation, please use an interpreter with military knowledge this time. Seeing "Wachen" instead of "Garde" made me laugh my *** off.

The DMP mod Ostfront has "Wache" units as well, which also confused me for a moment.

Please, don't overdo things. Please, keep things simple.
IMHO, the beauty of this game lies in its simplicity. There's no need for adding a trillion units that were hardly ever used at all IRL.

I strongly support a switchable 76mm gun, though. It is not depicted very well ATM.

Some variants as Guards Cavalry can be added later if there is a need for them and their statistics aproved them or they could be a part of SE units for example. Divisions from Siberia are regular infantry and Naval infantry would be for flavour mostly so not high priority, both are not included. I was undecided for Maxim MG infantry as counterpart for other heavy weapons infantries but Guards are playing that role already. Later variant more than early one but early one has alternative choice in SMG infantry while in the same time they differentiate enough so by adding one more it would be hard keeping them equally appealing.

T-28 has good date of appereance for early war, IS-3 for hypothetical battle and T-34-57 fills gap for better tank in 1943.

Recon class is underrepresented at the moment, couple of tank scouts and soft target scouts come handy to fill it.

Anti-Tanks in their self propelled mode for early war. Same goes for artillery with adition of heavy gun, switcher and rather cool rocket-tank. Switchable 76mm is a good idea but for now undecided about it because of balance impact on previous scenarios.

Anti-Aircraft palette filled with self propelled variants.

Transport units consists of diferent movement types variants, air, horse, tracked, halftracked, wheeled.

For fighters addition of land lease equipment. La5FN is a possibility but it depends on statistics distribution between it and other fighters preceding and succeeding it. Bombers are mix of soviet and land lease variants.

Finish troops would contain basic weapons from most important defensive classes if airplanes are added they will be reused from available models like M.S. 406 and Blenheim.

Yes! Finally horse drawn artillery! :D (assuming this becomes a standard transport choice, and isn't made available to russians only)

(Giving the AI artillery it can't rush ahead of walking infantry... It's a HUGE improvement if you could rely on the AI safekeeping its artillery behind a screen of other units automatically, and artillery with a move of exactly 2 or exactly 3 - and not 1, 5 or 8 - helps a lot)

Of course, if later war battles involving Finnish troops should be included, they should get German weaponry too, just as the Hungarians in the GC did. As there is no Pacific Corps yet, alas Soviet Corps will be missing the Khalkhin Gol / Nomonhan battle.

Makes sense. :)

If you decide on La-5FN, basically it is still the old wooden airframe as used on La-5 (and LaGG-3) but with the engine from La-7 (which also got a shiny new all-metal airframe). So it would fit right between these two, both as an upgrade as well stats-wise.

I would still like to make a case for an early light armored car to be used in the Winter War scenarios and up to when BA-64 becomes available - like FAI-M or BA-20. This should be in the same upgrade family as BA-64 (same role and tactical use), while the heavy BA-10 (different tactical role) should not.

T-34-57 should maybe best be an elite / award unit.

Please include a T-35! OK, so they didn't see much action but it is just so neat looking!

We can help you with this. :D
You need to choose the most critical GK for the planned changes.
Give us the modified files or tell about the planned changes.
Determine the level of difficulty.
And after two months, we'll tell you what has changed in the gameplay. :D

Please consider adding Sturmtiger (Sturmpanzer VI) into the game, Thanks a lot.

Sturmtiger (German: "Assault Tiger") is the common name of a World War II German assault gun built on the Tiger I chassis and armed with a large rocket launcher.

Sweet! 203mm M1931 and the KV-2 is a switcher between artillery and tank! Those two units are definitely become part of my Soviet corps :>

Also I was thinking, will the OT-34s and PT-34s come in their T-34/85 variants or are they gonna be T-34/76 variants? Although I would assume the OT-34's gonna use it's flamethrower over it's main cannon ingame so the caliber of it's main gun won't be so important...

Please think about and add some scenarios on the far east/japanese front. That would be awesome.

Im a new user here, but have played PG ever since it came out in the nineties. Are there any plans regarding a game on the japanese front? I believe there was and old expansion, pacific general?

This question has already been discussed at length. It is unlikely at the moment because this game will be available soon: http://www.slitherine.com/games/order_of_battle_pacific.

There should be scope for 1945 Far East scenarios for Soviet v Japan in Manchuria within Soviet Corps. Logically that wouldn't require a re-working of the engine so to speak to the extent of something like "Order of Battle - Pacific".

It's not like you would have to factor in naval engagements or island hopping like a full on Pacific Campaign.
