Given that they also recently released Order of Battle: Pacific, which is a game very, very similar to Panzer Corps, I highly doubt that we'll ever see a PC:Pac DLC from Slitherine. Such a DLC, besides being a lot of work, would likely steal sales from their OOB product. I'm afraid that those who want the Pacific theater in PC will very likely have to settle for a fan creating one by modding.

I don't think this line of reasoning will stop OOB to fish in Panzer Corps' pond.

And there was a pacific general.. Just like fantasy general. I would love for fantasy general to be redone, but you could argue that would steal from the war hammer release.
Also star general.
Spent many an hour waiting for the AI to finish its turn!!

Was star general any good? SSI had kind of jumped the shark by that point.

My first strategy game was The Grandest Fleet, also turn based, with SVGA graphics, which was unique. Also the fact that a random map could be chosen, which made the game never boring. The AI was boring however, much in kamikaze style. Would definately like a proper remake of that game...
