I got up until including day 23 now and I am very sorry that some of my (maybe unsupported) concerns (from above) are coming true now... I hope you can still pull it off!

Sad really...the greater problem is I busted through Morning Air Blind back on US Corps, but the 3rd part of 4 parts, and consequently most important part is missing....Not sure if I accidentally deleted or accidentally forgot to record, but it is gone....So I am thinking to showcase those days in replay mode only and try to provide commentary.

You can see if you like it that way better then the live playing I am putting up.

I will be taking a little break after that to gather my thoughts before I jump on Kasserine, or even consider doing Tatsinskaya on Super Hard...that way I can give you all a rest as well ;)

Just watched the last day as well. I actually think you were holding seven (instead of six) victory objectives? Anyways, it's a pity and I am very sorry for you!

Not sure if I can say much on what could have been done differently, the one thing about rolling up the map from one side to the other, you said you had tried already. Forcing surrenders helps (for prestige), however it sometimes also ties up a few more units (i.e. to encircle the enemy) that maybe can’t shoot (at other units) in a given turn anymore, maybe this is something to look at?

Just as another thought, wasn’t there a day or two when you had all victory objectives except the one in the northwest (Gumrak?) with the adjacent 4 strength Italian infantry? Can’t you just go back and finish the game then and be done with it OR do you really have to play through all 24 days of this scenario (well, except for the prestige maybe)? You said taking Gumrak triggers another counterattack?

I hope there are no hard feelings about my comments/thoughts… and keep up these youtube deep dives with short day-by-day episodes, very nice work!

I am actually ok with this outcome. It was exhilarating and part of what keeps my coming back time and again to Panzer Corps as i always think there are ways to improve the play of various scenarios. This is why I tweak with the difficulty so much as I like to push the limits of what is attainable.

To go back and try and do a quick win seems wrong and I am not sure if that would garner the win conditions as I think you have to hold them for the length of the time period, like in Piatek, back in 39...

I very much appreciate your comments and thoughts Pete as it motivates me to keep going...I am hoping for a few more interested parties to share their thoughts as well, but may have to settle for you buddy. Thanks for the encouragement, and the counter attack from Seizing Gumrak is a guess that means not sure what will arouse the ire of the ai...heck maybe if I never seized any of the main objectives until the final turn maybe none would have moved from their areas, but where would be the fun in that. ;)

FYI, it seems that the youtube count is delayed/skewed on purpose?

Yeah, I agree in some way... and yes, if you have to hold them until the last turn, well then maybe there is no point in going back anymore at this stage...
