When playing the grand campaign with limited prestige such as "Rommel", do you find that when you build your core over the years it costs less in the long run buy purchasing one type of unit over another? For instance I'm working through 44 East and I have a mix of Tiger 1 and Panther A's but in general the Tigers always seem to take less damage and are easier to rebuild between scenarios. Most of them have 4 to 5 stars of experience but I tend to keep them at 11 or 12 to save prestige. I also have 4 AT units (2 Jadpanzer, 1 Elephant and a gift Jadtiger) and of that group the Elephant appears to be the most durable. I could go back to Stug3G's as they are cheap enough for 13 over strength but with 45 on the way the Stug family seems like a dead end.
Thoughts?

Thanks for the update as once again it was a good read.
Any chance that he drops a note on this site when he releases a new set of stats? I'm hoping the little rascal speeds up his research as I'm almost in the 45 East campaign and I'm rather curious as to what his findings will show.
Thanks again!

Re: limited prestige and high cost units
Thanks Goose! Good luck with your play through as it sounds like a neat challenge. I've been trying to play the entire GC at Rommel level and it seems that if one were to choose certain units throughout the campaign, you could maximize the use of the limited prestige by eliminating certain units and focusing on the ones that take the least damage from 39 through 45.
I'm going into 45 with about 20K and if I can win in Berlin, I'll be pleased.
