TURN 13:

Another battle in Moscow, this time was unsuccessful for German aggressor.

Image

Soldiers of the Red Army took heavy casualties, but they defended the capital and gave the Motherland some more time to breath.

German armored unit crushed last defenders near the Saratov, now the road to the east is almost completely opened for Germans in that region.

Do the units surrounded in Moskow and Stalingrad suffer from attrition?

Is there a way to know which units have moved and which one haven't been touched during the turn?

Currently, both cities are Main Supply Sources, which means that they are providing supply, so the units are fully supplied.

If the unit still possess Action Points, it can be moved or perform an attack.

Thanks but my question if it's possible to check which units can still move (the maps are really big so it's easy to forget units).

Do you mean that Stalingrad and Moscow can lose their role as main supply sources after a number of turns if they are always surrounded? Stalingrad was only able to hold because supply came over the Volga.

Depending on which counter mix you use, there is are multiple indicators that a unit can still move: the action points, and the little green lights. There is also the tab key, which takes you to the next unit that can be moved - very useful especially when dealing with far-flung theaters.

Holding the city of Moscow is crucial for the spirit of the Soviet people, so it is also crucial to reinforce all units to full strength.

TURN 14:

Situation in Moscow is critical.
More than half of the city is already in enemy’s hands. Most probably the city will felt completely within a month.

As it has been predicted, Moscow has fallen.
German troops are marching at the Kremlin, and the German flag waves over the city. Sad day for the whole Soviet Union.

There is no fuel as a direct resource that impacts the units movement points. However for some of the countries, controlling oil rich regions is crucial to keep the whole army movement rate.
tarroro wrote:does isolate unit can re-strength?
Possibility of re-strength any of the unit mostly depends on the supply level of that unit.

1) supply = fuel in this game. A unit out of supply loses effeciency and action points. So to answer your question, yes, loss of fuel EVENTUALLY leads to a unit that can't move. It takes a few weeks of being out of supply before the unit reaches that state.

2) An isolated unit can be reinforced, based upon its current state of supply: if it is in the home country, if it is in a city, if it is in the main supply source city, if it is in a foreign country, and so on. Those factors determine amount of reinforcement.

If the Germans will redploy all the units from Moscow to Stalingrad then most probably yes, However there is still hope that General Winter will save the Soviets.

TURN 22:

During the autumn, German offensive has slowed down.

Stalingrad and Leningrad are still holding. With the loss of Moscow, Soviet Union has lost a very important Victory Point.
