Modding Question: Cannot purchase new units in modded campaign.

Right, this is going to be a delicate one since it involves an amateur modder's problems with another modder's abandoned work. I realize this is rather outside the purview of most support staff tasked with making sure the base game works well, but I felt I should reach out in any case.

However, I recently decided to thread together the existing files that the great but retired BNC left in their default Kaisershlacht/WWI 3.3 Mod, found here.

Through that, I was able to construct two campaigns, including my own campaign.dat and briefings. They can be found packaged as attachments here, and can be downloaded to the mygames/Panzer Corps/mod(s) folder for play once the mod is loaded using JSGME.

But that's where we get to a problem: the campaigns do not allow you to purchase additional core units, even when it is clear that there is both a core slot and ample prestige on hand.

You should be able to confirm it by loading up the campaigns (or perhaps even looking at them). I have never encountered this problem before in any campaign, including ones I modified.

In any case, this is sort of an all points bulletin request for help.
