Disregard the strange filename of the zip-file,
just rename it to your liking after the download.

Re: Equipment\FX\Campaign Editor - New version 0.8.5
Hi there!, my first post here , I'm using this tool and really like it but have found I guess a bug or something, was looking to vehicles stats (want to add some options) and found that for example the SdKfz 251/1 is using movement type 6 which corresponds if I'm right to naval movement, basically every vehicle have a wrong movement type for its kind (looked through all factions), so I'm guessing that this can be some sort of bug.
Searched deeply in the web for some answers but couldn't find any right answer so here I'm , any help is appreciated.

Mhh, I tried the Editor but I found it very annoying, at least for my test. I prefer to use Excel.

I am sorry for such a basic question, but are there install instructions for this mod? I downloaded it and had a look at the files, plus i had quick look on page 1 of this thread, but i couldnt find the install instructions anywhere.

Re: Equipment\FX\Campaign Editor - New version 0.8.5
Hi,
Is this editor still maintained? I'm using version 0.85 and get an exception on Windows 7 64bit every time I load an equipment file that uses high index values for units (like 10 000 and above).
Here's the stack trace:
************** Exception Text **************
System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Index was outside the bounds of the array.
at PzCEdit.MainForm.ReadDatabase(String sDatabase)
at PzCEdit.MainForm.coOpenButton_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e)
at System.Windows.Forms.Control.OnClick(EventArgs e)
at System.Windows.Forms.Button.OnClick(EventArgs e)
at System.Windows.Forms.Button.OnMouseUp(MouseEventArgs mevent)
at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmMouseUp(Message& m, MouseButtons button, Int32 clicks)
at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m)
at System.Windows.Forms.ButtonBase.WndProc(Message& m)
at System.Windows.Forms.Button.WndProc(Message& m)
at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m)
at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m)
at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam)
Any chance to have a fix for this?

Re: Equipment\FX\Campaign Editor - New version 0.8.5
This is/was a great tool. Unfortunately I encountered some problems trying to use it this summer and I sent several emails to Mr. Garnett both direct, indirect, Matrix Forum and this forum. I never got a reply. I guess he has moved on from it down in the land of OZ.
Old Timer Panzer General fan. Maybe a Volksturm soldier now. Did they let Volksturm drive Panzers?
Re: Equipment\FX\Campaign Editor - New version 0.8.5
Hi all after coming back to Panzer corp and trying to use the editor to adjust some units i couldn't get it to work ,i have it installed correctly and yes i would alter and then press commit to each unit and then save but when loading the game using ss/elite mod or GTPG grand campaign my changes didnt show i saw old post of people having same problem.....WELL I HAVE IT FIXED
HEREs INSTRUCTIONS
Your changes will only work on a new game not a save
you must save in the editor AND THEN unload the mod with GME and then reload it with GME and start a new game your changes should show up
i have not seen any one mention the reloading with GME any where so thought id share after took me ages to figure that step out
Enjoy

Re: Equipment\FX\Campaign Editor - New version 0.8.5
That is correct....the only thing I figured out is, it can edit the stats pretty well but that's about it, do not try adding units our mess with the sound edit part, and your good to go, most of the 8.5 editor is broke?mman69 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2019 12:56 am Hi all after coming back to Panzer corp and trying to use the editor to adjust some units i couldn't get it to work ,i have it installed correctly and yes i would alter and then press commit to each unit and then save but when loading the game using ss/elite mod or GTPG grand campaign my changes didnt show i saw old post of people having same problem.....WELL I HAVE IT FIXED

Re: Equipment\FX\Campaign Editor - New version 0.8.5
Hi All!
Well, I have been away, changed email addresses, changed country of residence, so much....
I haven't been keeping up with this, but I'll take a look at the editor over the next couple of days and post a fixed version that actually works. I stopped development many versions ago, but hopefully it won't be a huge issue or anything.
Cheers!!
Mark

Re: Equipment\FX\Campaign Editor - New version 0.8.5
I've recompiled with up to date libraries and all seems to be working well now, apart from the fact that it is god awful ugly!!
If there's enough interest I'm happy to modernise and add features, but wasn't sure if everyone was getting ready to move on with PZC2 not far away.
Cheers
Mark

Re: Equipment\FX\Campaign Editor - New version 0.8.5
I still enjoy using the tool.
And I would be very happy about an update.
And no PzC2.
I stay with the original Panzer Corps.

Hello mgarnett,
Happy for your return
Your editor for Panzercorps is sublime.
It just misses the photo Bigunits.
Could you modify your editor or if it's simpler for you just to create a new one taking again only the list of the Units, the Nation, and the photos of the Units and Bigunits.
It would be a nice complementary tool to what you have already done
Best regards
Yves
PS:
I stay with the original Panzer Corps too.
For modifications, I use only Excel. It's easy and very fast

Re: Equipment\FX\Campaign Editor - New version 0.8.5
Absolutely, I can certainly do this for you. I just have a question though, I've been out of PzC for some time, what do you mean when you say photo of the unit and Bigunits, do you just mean the small and large unit icons, or is it something else?
Cheers

Re: Equipment\FX\Campaign Editor - New version 0.8.5
Hello Mark
I'm talking about images representing the units already in your editor (Graphics \ Units \ image.png) and images that have the same name but are located in the UI \ bigunits \ image.png directory
I undertook to assign each unit a historical photograph.
If I could view both images at the same time, it would be very useful to modder.
Thank you very much if you can do anything to help me.
I put an example below.

Hi,
Yes, it should be no problems to display both images at the same time. I will add it in to the next version for you.
Thanks
Mark

Certainly! I've been out of PzC for some time, so can you post me a link to the file, or email it to me at mgarnett02(at)gmail.com, and I will have a look for you.MjrOu812 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2019 1:49 amGood to see you....i hope you fix things on your editor, its a great program Got one request for you....is it possable to have your editor read the more bigger epuipment files i have tried in the past to load equipment files like the AMULET 3.0 and it gives me errors everytime?
