i wonder if it would ever be possible to mod this game to play more like a game called rush for berlin great game.just would like to be able to build factorys and barracks would add a different kind of taste to this.but i really doubt it could be done.

A very nice alternative campaign from the PG floppy era!!! It was very nice to have many core slots so you could use secondary equipment but I remember I didn't like the fact that the maps were too full of units with little space to maneuver.
Anyway it will be nice to have it on PC with all the innovations the new game engine offers.

I assume you talk about getting more units?
Sorry, i don't know this game you talk about, perhaps you can provide me a link.

In the original version the number of core slots was 80 from the first to the last scenario.

I hear you, that is why in this remake i have not chosen to do so. Core is raised bit by bit, and most aux units are placed like in the original.
Anyway, there won't be enough prestige to replace everything you lose, so you will have to take good care of those core units. Aux units, as a good tactic, are expendable.
Also, a major attempt that players cannot upgrade most if not all core units to the latest models available in every deployment phase.

For those who want to try the first scenario. UPDATED!
http://www.sendspace.com/file/nlqg4l (v3)
How to play: unzip the file in your \my games\panzer corps\scenario folder (if you don't have the scenario folder yet, you'll need to create it).
Start the game, chose new game and then scenario's, there in the list you'll find custom, chose it and 001 should be in the list.
Please share your comments!

Updated version.
There might have been an error for axis side, but i'm not sure.
Anyway, should be ok now. Feel free to check out the victory conditions for standalone scenario.
Added victory conditions for polish side, should now be playable too! Just know that AI can be really stupid when it comes to units in a transport.
So now also playable for MP!

I've played your scenario, yesterday, and I didn't have any issue.
I played in Colonel level. Finished with a Decisive Victory in the 10th turn, 1284 prestige points.
Didn't bought any new unit, and lost 2 Infantry units, 1 Artillery and 1 Destroyer.

This is the introducing scenery to the campaign, so it might to be easy than the others, but anyway I'm finishing it too earlier.
Unfortunately the AI enemy aviation, is quite imbecile, keep targeting secondary units.

Thanks for the feedback and i'm glad you found the time to have it a try :).
The starting prestige for the standalone has been set from 200 to 50 which is now same as for the campaign.
Enemy aircraft have their favorites. I was considering that besides the initial waves, also to introduce more enemy aircraft during the game. The ai might be sometimes imbecile, but it can hurt from time to time. So the player will have to remain on guard for more enemy planes coming in... .
The impression i already had, once you shot off all planes, for the remainder of the scenario, you have total airsuperiority. For the first scenario i won't change. But i might add a surprise in the second scenario and so on. That is one of the features that did not exist in the original PG, the ability to add reinforcements that can come as a total surprise.

I don't have an aggressive style of playing. In that case I could have finished it 1 or even 2 turns earlier.
Maybe you should reduced the number of turns for this scenario. Let us see how others might do.

And yes the moment you get air superiority it's the key moment of the scenario. Which makes sense.

As an opener for this campaign i suggest not to make this scenario too hard, not to discourage less experienced players. There are already more units involved than in the vanilla campaign opener, and might take some adjustment :).
You gain air superiority rather fast, weather is good and number of turns is rather generous. And no surprises ;).

For those who want to try, second scenario as standalone

http://www.sendspace.com/file/ajccyv

Remember: standalone scenario's go to your \my games\panzer corps\scenario folder!

Could someone be so kind to report if they got the captured piece of artillery from, which is higly likely, the first polish city you'll capture with your german units.
There are russian units under your command as well :).

Thank you.
