Update: It seems there has been some controversy over whether the eagle in the logo and headbase should be facing right or left. This emblem is supposed to be a Officer Visor cap insignia and is historically correct , it will not be changed. http://www.axishistory.com/index.php?id=4546

I appreciate any feedback but I will not get into a pissing match over who is right or wrong.

Excellent mod but not compatible with the mini purchase mod.
So I can have the historical emblems and flags but I shall never be able to purchase subs...

I've never used the mini mod but I'm assuming you could probably just combine the two?

Maybe I'll look into it since I'm currently working on a few minor updates to the mod anyway.

If you try to combine them you have this message by the Generic mod enabler: "Thumbs.db" has already been altered by the "Flag" mod.

I just downloaded the mini mod and put the purchase.html file in the UI folder in my mod and the classes folder in the purchase folder and it seems to work for me. I think whats happening is you're trying to use two different mods at the same time in GME.

You can use different mods simulatneously in GME this is normal, I use flag mod + RSM Redux Sound 1.10 mod all the time.

I solved the problem: I integrated in your flag mod files the mini purchase mod files.

Everything works perfectly.
The ability to purchase subs and bunkers is for me very important.

Robert, you can delete those thumbs.db files. They are generated by Windows Explorer, they are not important.

Admittedly I don't use GME and the only mod I have installed is my own. Good to hear you got it working. :)

Vpaulus, what do you think of this headbase for AK?

I still have to finish replacing the eagle in the purchase screen and doing a modified briefing letter for AK as well.

It would work well if you could switch with the original, whenever you're playing AK or the normal game.
I would make perhaps the swastika a little smaller only. But the concept is great.

I don't think it's possible, at least with my knowledges which are elementary. I remember to had this idea when AK was released, but wasn't able to implement.

no...its the same file and there is no way to dynamically display different AK or vanilla UI elements

It's based on this AK insignia but of course as with most Third Reich symbols their were different versions used, besides this one was a little easier to do.

I was thinking that when using GME you could make two copies of the mod rename the second one Historical Flag AK mod or whatever you want,replace the headbase,purchase headbase and briefing letter with the AK ones then keep the original mod enabled when playing the vanilla campaign or the DLC and switch to the second version when playing the AK campaign although that could get a little confusing.

Once it's finished I'll upload it as a separate add-on and let people figure it out for themselves.
