________________________________________HELP NEEDED_______________________________________
I could really use some help from one or two enthusiastic individuals who are willing to contribute to this ambitious and great project.
I especially would need somebody who is able to manipulate the HTML based UI in order to display things differently on the Startscreen and the Game Menu or who at least can figure it out how to do it. If I have to figure out everything myself this will take forever
Some help for the Library entrys and english text or image editing is also needed further ahead.

For the first time in any PanzerCorps game/mod in Panzercoprs East you can share the fate of the greatest war heros
of any time and any nation. 32 real german fighter, bomber and tank aces who fought in the east assigned to their corresponding units

These 32 man worth as much as an entire army and are responsible for the destruction of over 3000 planes and over 2000 tanks plus a countless amount of other equipment of any kind which would suffice to arm and motorize a whole army corps

A STRATMAP...now thats still a secret...pssssss

Well, it is fun to hear, that not only I invent this. :) I'm curious, how you will do it. I either cannot show, because I have not yet unveiled it in the IC 2.0 "press releases". But the time will come for that. Although you can send a PM and we discuss it in SECRET!!! Muhahahaa! :D

Discuss the methode/technique, how you implement it in the game. Spoiler? I don't know, if it is the right word for that. I suggested to discuss it via PM, because I want it to keep in secret, until I show it in the IC 2.0 topic. :)

Looks like a very nice project. Good job on that title and UI art.

As for the request, my stuff is free to use for any other mod.

Due to the fact that there are always people announcing great ambitious mods but that there are very very few that can hold up to their promises due to a lack of skills, dedication or realistic planning and/or inability to effectively pursuing a settled goal, I dont want to make to big of an announcement meanwhile Iam not 100% sure if I can pull the thing out the way its meant to be.
I will not go into details/features at this point but I can say it will be a beast. Its my own little Panzer General dream I dreamed since the early 90s.
Those who know how time consuming the production of content and artwork is will understand that its very difficult for a 1 man project to produce all assets and finish a big scale project in an accetable timeframe (1-3 months) so Iam hereby going to ask anybody who produced units if Iam allowed to incorporate them if the need arises as Iam up to my throat in coding, mapping, looking for feasable images and producing of artwork, concept design, research of production figures and making math and statistics.
Upfront I have to thank Massi for his WWII terrain overlays. They are of great use. I only wish he had done a few more.

A few campaign facts :
Nations
Germany,USSR,Italy,Romania,Hungary,Finland,Bulgaria,Slovakia,Croatia,Spain

The mod has only to be placed in MyDocuments/My Games/PanzerCorps/Mods and will be selectable under "More Campaigns" as it will make full use of the
implemented campaign function.

Maps will be of very realistic design and the game will shift from only tactical to both tactic and strategic operations.
The hex armchair generals will be pleased I think.
Congrats on the ambitious plans and bold statements. I will be following your progress and welcome to this great community.

As much as a 1 man show can pull out in 1-2 months. Gameplay will certainly be the most important aspect but historical correctness is a serious issue for me.
Now when it comes to the kind of camo a certain tank abt. used then I really not care if its the correct one as long as there is some variety to fill the scene with life and immersion. Panzercoprs offers some great things Panzergeneral was lacking but still its a very simplistic abstract simulation and a somewhat limited engine at the moment. If only a few strings in the exe would be converted to work in a generic way and a few more scripting commands and checks would be added and exported to .csv file and the ai files too then I could do marvels with the engine..errr,daydreaming...so I have to deal with what I have.
My family had 7 men in the Wehrmacht and 1 in the Kriegsmarine and we lost 5 in Russia, amog these 2 in Stalingrad and 1 in Novgorod.
My granddad survived in the west. He was at Hürtgen Forest with the 3rd Fallschirmjäger-Division so Iam confident to have the knowledge to recreate a nice setting ...as for the developement of the campaign...well its a game and the outcome can be different from history, thats why we play games, true?
Anyway, this will be no happy shopping scenarios..it will be a russain campaign as the Wehrmacht fought it. Outnumbered and outgunned from Stalingrad onwards. How Iam going to achive this ? Its a bit early to reveal the mechanics behind this. Its a lot of work but Iam determined to get over it. Its not my first big project. Iam a devteam member of a very big total conversion mod for a game from the Total War series at twcenter.net and have succesfully designed, coded and released a big mod on my own too. So if there is a way to get this done I will do it.

This is a huge project, make no mistake! :) I am doing an Alled Corps campaign and over a few months have completed 7 historical scenarios. It is the historical bit that takes the time. You will need to work out what you want to achieve; historical accuracy or gameplay or both ( the best IMO). For example, my D-Day scenario is taking forever because I am trying to capture some of the tactical feel (Omaha) and the strategic objectives, all within the limitations of the terrain and game engine. Not an easy task. If I wanted to have a map of Normandy with a few units, without division or regiment identification, doing things they didn't do e.g. The 2nd SS in Saving Private Ryan, who weren't in the area, it would be much easier.

And then there is the balance testing. Historically, the Germans were able to hold the Allies in Normandy for a couple of months due to many factors but PzC, especially the AI, is unable to replicate that. So the US forces need to be nerfed or the Germans buffed, or both. But by how much and what effect will it have? The only way to find out is to play test it, over and over again. Even then you can't be sure some wily human player will do something unexpected and undo all of it!

Your project looks great and has a grand goal but it will take more than 2 months. Unless you don't sleep? :)

thnx for input and its true...
Iam well aware of the amount of work and I said 1-2 months cause maps have been finished before making an announcement :D ...tricky me...
I wanted to have an estimate and see more or less how much effort it takes me so I studied and tested the engine extensively before considering the project and found that its very well feasable. If I would have to produce units I agree It would take me forever but since this is not the case I think I can manage it in my estimated time. The gamebalance..well..I have something in place to assure a more or less historical developement until end 42 and then it gets nasty...to make myself clear...the player is not really supposed to win this...this is about to recreate the difficultys the Wehrmacht faced and not a shopping scenario were players can roll with all 5star Tigers and Panthers over the AI. Tigers,Tigers II,Elefants,Jagdpanthers had so low production numbers that they were not assigned to ordinary divisions but mostly organized in specific Tank Units so they can not be purchased but will be given to the player on their date. Thats for starters
