You will notice, different sizes of maps, different number of core units from scenario to scenario.

The LOV team, especially Niki and Churchy, have spent over a year on this (and other) modding projects... Their dedication and tenacity are astounding! :D
All this awesomeness and it is for free... I almost feel guilty for having such a treasure and not compensating the designers; however, I do understand the "labor of love" concept. Kudos ya blokes!

Woaaa... I already lost 3 core units in Poland scenaro (2 tanks and 1 pioneere infantry) by constant surprise counter attacks from Polish cavlary and tanks... The campaign is NOT easy! I learned the hard way AGAIN that I have to be very cautious when advancing. Even against Polish troops.

Maybe that situation is a bit buffed or overly optimistic for Polish side, but it deosn't matter. Very good scenario design indeed :)

The importance of recons cannot be underestimated. The Poles might seem stronger than their counterparts in the official DLC39, but that is not the case; no values were changed. Let's say, that they are using the terrain where they appear to be more effective...or more or less where i placed them ;). The Poles should not go under so "quietly" as in the Panzer Corps vanilla campaign.
There are some capturables in that scenario, helpful to take Warsaw.

Yes Poland was a tough scenario. As a matter of fact all scenarios are tough for now... But that is OK with me :)

However now I arrived at Norway and Sweden (cannot respell German name for that scenario), and I realize that prestige is being taken from me as long as I don't secure Kiruna which is far far north. And scenario itslef is drain on prestige. I have to replay Poland I think, as I lost too much prestige since that scenario, and that scenario is very good for buffing prestige.

I must admit once again great design. You are creating unorthodox scenarios (large scale battles, skirmishes, partisan fights, side missions, gifts etc), and the game is not boring at all as some scenarios in original game. You have it all and diversity and unpredactibilty is what forces player to be as patient and carefull as he can. One tactic won't win all battles, and units need to be carefully placed.

But on the other hand this brings a tought that this mod is mainly for enthusiasts and veteran players. I really don't think most people would like to get their prestige drained out of nowhere, especially since original game had no such twists (this almost comes to the point of simulating economy and trading which is what original game lacked of course)...

There is actually one scenario, where you lose prestige points as long as you didn't capture a certain objective (Kiruna) and that is the one in Norway/Sweden. It was an attempt to simulate that German economy cannot afford a drain in their iron ore supply. I suppose, Fallschirmjägers are really a welcome asset, particulary for this mission.

I tried to bring in some variation as this is a long campaign. The key here is the 2nd Battle of El Alamein where the campaign has a loss path (all the way to the Alpenfestung) and a win path (all the way to Seattle). The betatesters really liked the few scenarios in Africa, where there is actually a restriction on the number of tanks you can deploy; and thus no other choice is left, than take full advantage of the units which you can deploy; in this case antitank units become very tempting.

The difficulty of the campaign is much more tweakable than before. With the advanced options, not so experienced players, can give themselves more prestige and so on. These options allow the player to make it as hard or as easy as they want.
So i think, that this campaign is not only designed for veterans.

Yes you are right. I forgot about advanced settings... But what I also forgot about is that I can mold core to my liking. At first I played only with core you provided and what I found out is that there are simply too many infantry units compared to planes and artillery which are very important. I bet I had over 12 infantry units which I believe I never had in any campaign. And without artillery Infantry is cannon fodder. So my goal now is to twak core a bit into my playing style. Also repeating scenarios usually does the charm in terms of keeping units alive... Last time I lost too many core units in the Poland scenario alone (3 or 4 of them), this time none. I will not be tuning down difficulty. I just kind of played too loose on the first try, so now I'm much more focused and fired up, and the results are not missing :)

I also like what I hear about Africa scenarios (never had tank unit count restriction before), but to be honest I will spend days or even weeks until I get there. I simply cannot connect more then 3-4 hours of constant playing (which equals to around 20 in my case - especially since core is big). I feel exhausted after that (of course and fullfilled). My job is programming and computer at all times is not too good for me, so I'm trying to play in spurts of 10-15 turns. I'm not a teenager anymore, and my stamina is not as it used to be (I'm turning 30 in a few days, so long playing hours are taking toll on me) :) The good thing is that not every mission needs all the core units, so breaks and smaller deployments in every other scenario are very welcome :)

As for the Vanilla i left it as it was but for the ultimate there won't be any overflowing deployment pool. In the vanilla i introduced the Reich's econcomics trigger (prestige is reset to 0), for the ultimate i introduce the OKW redeployment trigger (what you don't deploy will be reassigned).

Thanks for this fantastic mod. But it does only work with Patch 1.21, doesn't it?
Just tried and didn't work. Still playing dlc45w with Patch 1.14.

You need Panzer Corps v1.21 in order to play. Panzer Corps v1.21 allows you to play with patch 1.14 gamerules and the new v1.21 rules.

I know. But thanks for the reminder. The thing is, once you started the campaign, you cannot patch the game without restarting the campaign, can u?
