It all sounds very impressive - good luck with this ambitious project.

By the way, I think it is a good idea and much more appropriate to change the name to 'War of the World 2', as this is such a departure from the original.

Yes, I will be changing it to War of the World II. Also, update (expansion) is being released in a long time (2016?).

OK, I've tried the new ideas and the scenario isn't really built in a way for the hybrid scenario to work. So instead, I will be making an MP "Cold War" (USSR vs NATO 1945-55) scenario that uses a much smaller map (100 x40), with quarterly turns to create the "War of the World II". I'm shrinking the map because huge maps aren't that great for multiplayers, and they are too taxing on your PC.

If no one posts now, I will be forced to take extreme action (stormtroopers)

Here are the requested files if i didn't overlook anything. So don't dismiss the stormtroopers yet.

Nations and Strings files go into /data, the rest goes into /Ui
Back-up original files!

You will also require the graphical stuff like the buttons and flags, which i am unable to do.

The stormtroopers have found that this is an old file with your versions of the Przemysl and Tannenburg scenarios when Kaiserschlacht was unreleased. They don't see any flags.

These are the "technical" files that allows you to pick the extra nations you requested in the editor. Nations and Strings.pzdat go into the /data folder, the other files go into the /UI folder.

However, you will still require *.png files for the necessary flags. Flag buttons in the /UI/Buttons folder, separate flags for each nation in the /UI/Purchase/Flags folder and the flags.png file in /Graphics/Overlay folder.
There are several people who made an extended flag mod in the past, perhaps one of them can help you with that.

I've been doing the Mongols, WWI and a currently unannounced thing lately, so you won't see anything until late next year. :(

War of the World 1 is finished, any expansion won't come until late 2015 or early 2016. WWI is also finished, so you can play that one as well.

Really cool - but a few problems - the Polish forces do run away to the USSR and the Allied fleet is bombarding all of my ground units to death - even the fortification - would be cool to have a quick fix for that ;-)
So I would wait for that to get fixed as it is kinda game breaking right now - a bigger land mass. more ship killing fortifications and less damage done to ground units by ships - just some surpression would help - plus Denmark and a lot of mines would need to prevent the Allied fleet from entering that area - as it was historically ;-)

Congratulations to everyone who has downloaded this mod! We have reached 500 downloads!

Unfortunately there will be no more updates for this mod. I am too busy with WWI v2.2 and the Mongols now, but later this year I hope to make a form of 'Part 2' for the mod (Nearly everyone has won as the Axis by now, haven't they? Well, what happens after that?)

War of the World has been finished and released for well over a year now, so there won't be any updates for it anymore.

Part 2 is still a possibility, but I have less time available than I used to (real life probably got sick of me modding) and most of that goes towards the Mongols and WWI v2.2

Also Downloads has reached 562!

Just curious, has anyone saved any replays of this scenario? I'm going to try and reboot the version 2, and thought they might be useful for balancing, especially the Axis ones (I don't have enough time to play v1.1 five times)

After 18 months of being released, I am pleased to announce 687 downloads!

Hi bite. I am curious to know about your Mongosl and Rome projects. They are on hold?, or you will surprise us soon enough? :)
Regards.

Mongols is on hold (and I intend to finish it in 2016). Rome is unlikely, but many of its features will make it into WotW 2 anyway.

I'm not going to reveal any more of the new one until the thread for it is made (probably a couple weeks from now). 8)
