Question about core slots

Hi,

I'm trying to make a big map scenario, played as campaign.
According to the statistics, I have deployed 697 units for the player.
I want the player to be able to buy 3 more units, so I set the number of core slots to 700.

However, on the purchase screen I see 62 as the number of core slots available. Plus I can only buy units for the Germans, none of the other nations fighting on their side.
I tried lowering and increasing the nr of core slots but everytime I get odd values in game.

What is it that I'm not getting with the number of core slots and why can't I buy units from allied nations?

Maybe, it depends on nb of Core/Auxiliary Units for the nb of core slots ?

Share flags activated ? (New units can be purchased next to any flag belonging to this side, not just flags belonging to unit's nation)

I would like there to be no auxiliary units, as I would like all to be able to earn awards.

I have the shared flags activated but still no other units than Germans can be purchased.
Which is a big drawback, as only a part of the army is German and other nation's losses need to be filled up.

Some of the Core Units only appear after the first turn (trigger) so that is the reason why you have more core slots at the first turn (they are not counted until they appear on the map).
I was able to buy and deploy units from the other nations (?)

Ah, I see. The undeployed units are counted as free slots.

I’ll see how I can work around that.


Not sure why you are able to buy units from other nations, while I’m not, though.

You can add Core Slots during the game with a Trigger :

The problem with buying other nations only occurs in campaign mode and only for the Axis side.
Am I right that the award system doesn't work in single scenario's?

Resolved!

Turned out that in the campaign file I had to specify all the country numbers under the "nation" heading.

In campaign.pzdat there is a line;
# Name Label in campaign path Description Side Nation Starting prestige Display name
wip 1 "Long Island." 0 0,1,3,4,5,9,12,13,14,15,16,22,24,29,31,32 500 "Uzun ada"

I had to fill in all nation numbers that I want to be able to buy units from.

What is the difference between adding a nation in campaign.pzdat and adding a nation in Scenario Editor ?

I don't know but I was able to buy other nation units after I changed campaign.pzdat, while I wasn't before that, eventhough I had all the nations selected in the scenario editor.
