Europa East Front Multiplayer 1.99 F+
Hi everyone!
Multiplayer map Europe East Front MP v1.99 (172x112 hexes.)
Perhaps it is not completely historical, but it is as close as possible exactly for balanced multiplayer map.
Map it is too big for this game mechanics, but i dont planned to make the mod.
Other hand you can play on vanilla version!
- Starting armies correspond to 1 unit = 1 division on June 22, 1941.
- The system for obtaining prestige takes into account the initial conditions of war, the evacuation of industry, lend-lease, the actions of the allies in Sicily and Normandy, as well as the general increase in the production of military equipment.
- In addition to bonuses for prestige, the USSR under Lend-Lease gets military equipment in accordance with historical proportions, with the exception of units that are not in the original game.
- The weather changes depending on the time of year. Spring and autumn are a bit more rainy, in winter there is snow, in summer is mostly sunny.
- Purchase of units entirely on the player, with the exception of Lend-Lease supplies, partisans and a single case of transfer of Siberian divisions.
UPD. 25.03.24 update to version 1.99 F+ (Updated one more time 30.03.24)
1) Starting Germans prestige returned as it was.
2) Some Germans events prestige penalty was decreased.
3) Elite germans units now have +1 initiative and experience increased. Germans aviation experience increased.
4) Victory conditions and some victory city was changed. Axis don't need defend Finland or Bulgaria.
Also Germans have more reasons to attack on Caucasus direction. (26.03.24 - Refixed Victory conditions )
5) Partisans power decrease. The total quantity is also slightly reduced.
6) Some other changes.
*Recommended Rules for Multiplayer
1) Not to drop Paratroopers far than 25 hexes of nearest airfield.
2) Not to buy more than 3 conscripts per turn for USSR side.

Some bugs fixed + updates to version 1.02
Update 10.06.19 to version 1.01
A-20 Lend-Lease added and starting position changes for some units .
UPD. 11.06 fixed to version 1.02.
Added ships for the Axis countries
Victory conditions have been fixed and now they are visible before loading the turn.

The balance of starting positions has changed.
Now Germans can attack faster and more historically

UPD. 05.04.21 update to version 1.27
After new testing i had to make some more positions changes and fixes.
Also i add few weak bridge engineers to Romanians.
Unfortunately Romanias army had not engineers in the game
but i still want the map was usefull on vanila version.
Now it looks much better. Have fun!

18.09.21 update to version 1.51
I made some updates during last two month so now it's 1.51 version.
All changes you can find in the first post.
I try to maintain this map for vanilla version, but
this map need a little mod to be more playable.
If somebody interesting maybe i will do that for 1.6 version.

This is a multiplayer map. Do you play this map in single player mode?

UPD. 23.05.22 update to version 1.9
Totaly fixed. Sorry, so many bugs was in previous versions. ))
Weather was reworked and modified.
Partisans system changed and randomized.
Prestige economy modified and rebalanced.
Some units were fixed and updated.
Some landscape changes + some roads added.
Lend lease zones randomized, and so on, and so on. ))
Looks like its a final version.
I have a mini mod for this map.
Maybe i will add it soon.

thanks for the map, very detailed, a lot of logistics to be done (currently first time playing, at turn 7 , playing USSR).
few suggestions:
- reduce the duration of turn. i think duration of turn, map size and units speed do not match. my opponent needs about 3-5 turns more to take Minsk and Kiev, and we are already in September. which means i think historical schedule isnt achievable.
- remove reservoirs on Dnepr, as i believe they were not there at that time. they make an unpassable obstacle for Axis. same with Don-Volga canal.
- maybe reconsider number of transport planes/trains? i think there is something off with both sides having 15 trains and 15 planes

there is a map "Unternehmen_Barbarossa_Version_2016_11", i got it from another player (who i also play your map with), i dont know if you are familiar or not...anyhow it has 999 turns and i personally played to near victory over USSR at around mid 1943 / turn 130 something ...so there should be a way.
3. (number of transport planes/trains)
I dont have exact solution, but i think maybe increase trains / reduce planes for USSR? i havent heard of mass delivery of infantry by planes, and thats what im doing in shortage of trains. maybe im wrong here.
me personally i try not to abuse paras on any map plus they are almost always have suicidal missions which i dont like. i try to play with people who think the same.
i am not very familiar with abuse of conscripts, maybe you are right. i buy one here and there just to not allow opponent take city with truck and buy some time for me.
i am thinking more of the rules to limit production of heavy equipment to certain areas. i imposed such rule on myself on 1941 map before, but it only works well if both players agree. but if on this map the issue of turn duration is not fixed it will be to difficult buying tanks in Germany. just as an off-topic idea you can have on a map some worthless units to use them as markers of where factory is. or maybe group of 3-5 of them for 1 factory. that means to transport factory by rail from one city to another you will have to use quite some time. but then you can buy from that city.
