Fungus not hurting formers
Is it intended in the latest beta that fungus no longer hurt formers? It still damages combat units that end their turn in the fungus, but formers are no longer damaged when sitting in a fungus hex.

Fungus do hurt formers, until a research protect formers.

My formers are never hurt by fungus. They have no armor and do not heal automatically. They used to be damaged when in fungus, but now they are not damaged at all.ERISS wrote:Or you mean formers are never hurt now? (I did not verified)

I can confirm that this is the case in my current game. My formers don't get hurt by fungus. But this may have been done on purpose because on Marathon games, the terraforming rate is increased meaning that formers will die before they ever clear a hex of fungus.
My current game is Marathon pace. I haven't been counting the turns for terraforming stuff, but it's noticeably longer (which I don't mind).

I was keeping an eye on this in my most current game and my Formers were indeed taking damage.
