Game crashes during AI naval phase in turn 33

Game crashes in turn 33 (standard 1914 game) during naval AI phase.

This is the second time I had this happening, forcing me to abandon a game I invested several hours in.

Here's the code snippet from the log, savegame and complete logfile included in attachment.

By the way: is there a way to open and edit the files ending with ".ai" in /data/scripts/AI like "targeting and attack.ai" ?
These don't seem to be simple textfiles like the other .lua scripts, because if I open them in Notepad++ they appear all garbled.

Hi,

sorry to hear about your problems, there is a hope tho ;) Please unpack & drop attached *.lua file to data/scrips/ai directory (there should be *.ai with the same name there already) of CTGW installation and let me know if it helped.

There is no way to edit *.ai files but we plan to release original *.lua files (like the one attached) and those can be edited freely.

It worked! Thank you SO much johnnybravo for this hotfix, you deserve a medal! :D

And great to see you are back here on the forum to help out personally, I almost wrote this otherwise brilliant game off due to that bug.

I assume this fix should be applied by all players of CTGW?

I am working on other fixes now, after that I will post combined hotfix package, but yes, in the meantime if other players have similar problems they should use this one.
