Is this only for the PC, or can iPad users download this as well?

@mpetri: Well, the game (and so the mod) uses .png graphics and standard .txt files for the scripts which from what I read should be compatible with ipad. However the sound files are in .wav format and therefore most likely(?) not compatible. Also the folder structure is likely to differ between the PC and ipad versions. So I highly doubt the mod would work. Sorry. :|

I'd like to give it a shot anyway--- how would you go about downloading it on an iPad?

First find an app to unpack the zip-archive to you ipad (no clue whether this is an issue at all, I've never used anything else than Windows) then follow the instructions for installation in the first post.

Hi! Just got your mod installed on the PC Steam version of CTGW, but each time I click start, it crashes. Not even at the map, just crashes! What do I do to make it work? It's got all the requirements lined up: 1.6.6, latest version, clean install...

@CPI: Crashing without error message is usually caused by choosing a language other than english. The mod only supports english.

Else please provide the logfile (named "ctgw.log") which is usually to be found in your Documents folder, so look in "My Documents\My Games\Commander The Great War".
However, I've no clue where the steam version will put this file.

When you've found ctgw.log put the file into a .zip or .rar archive and attach it to your reply using the forum's "upload attachment" feature.

I've only ever played in English, so the issue is not there.

Looks like the folder structure of the steam version differs from the standard PCWin installation type.

Did you copy the "data" folder from the archive containing the mod into the game's main directory, overwriting the old one?

Would this mean that I require a non steam version of the game for this mod to work, or is there another way to sort out the problem?

If so, I'd need to know the folder structure of the steam version to be able to help.

Yes, as the instructions said I had to do: 3.0 then 3.4 update

it works just fine on steam version, i dont think it really differs, its "portable" like, free to move anywhere and still working

so its easy to keep original and moded both at once, only problem is, they are writing both into same log file, i figured it out in the past, when i was playing a lot mp and during free time i played your mod :lol:
