Early Access Update 0.1.2

We are pleased to announce the first Early Access update! Please download and install the update file from below. You do not need to uninstall your current version first.

As always, please give us as much feedback as you can. We read it all and use it to make a great game even better!

Key Changes
* Skirmish: Added option to use an army list instead of random force assignment
* Skirmish: Fix bug where reinforcements could be drawn from wrong army
* Skirmish: Allow selection of campaign when creating a skirmish
* Skirmish: Restrict multiplayer games to preset force sizes
* Skirmish: Better selection of VP locations and deployment zones
* Skirmish: Refined unit assignment in random army list games
* New unit icons
* Added armour display to battle UI
* Units will no longer receive any experience for being fired at
* Fixed bug allowing infinite scouting
* Correction to victory condition in “Theirs Are Bigger Than Ours”
* Unit info panel will switch units when using Tab to cycle between units
* Added Scuttle action to allow immobilised tanks to be removed
* Some vehicles set as open-topped, allowing them to be suppressed by non-AP attacks
* Air strikes are unavailable at night
* Snipers are always created at elite level
* Fixes to force selection screen
* Revised UIs
* Minor bug fixes
* Optimisations

I'm see a font change in the UI, at least on my machine. Was that intentional?

As part of the UI revisions, many of the UIs have moved away from the comic book style font used in BA 1.

Hi!

On the 2nd scenario of the Barbarossa Campaign, the actual force on the map when I began the scenario was different from what I selected in the force selection screen.

Please see below:
Force selected Force at Start

I wanted to have the same number of trucks & halftracks as the number of leg units. So I basic had 13 leg units with the 13 halftracks & truck combination. At the start of the scenario, I noticed that I had 17 leg units instead of the 13. Is this a bug or is there an add-on to the force selection?

Just finished the 1st scenario--I think the move away from the comic book look is a very good idea--everything just looks better--the game itself runs faster now--the flow of combat is more even and the sense of the "360 degree battlefield" is well done taken from the battalion commander aspect of keeping the momentum of the assault going and using the assets at hand one step ahead all the time under the time limts

You are correct, we have no yet enabled the editor. This is partly as we finialise some of the features, and partly to try and keep players focused on the newer features rather than on modding :)

Campaigns you have created in the editor appear will appear on the Campaigns screen and are stored in Documents\My Games\BA2\CAMPAIGNS.

I want to edit some scenarios before i play them,it can be done? i dont find winter ofensive on Campaigns screen

You cannot edit the included scenarios without creating your own campaign (in My Documents/My Games/BA2) to play them from.

I would suggest starting a thread specifically about what you want to try and do :)

KHARKOV edited scenario game dont count objective 4 bridges completed even when i did.

Guys,...the latest beta release update is simply awesome,...the multiplayer games are also superb!
I was hoping the scale of the maps/troops would be resolved and it is,....can't wait to see what further updates bring.
