Hi everybody,

I just downloaded the new DLC Sandstorm, but wasn't able to install. The program demands the version 6.1.7. I have version 5.3.0. But where ist this new version? I tried automatic upgrader, but here I was told, that I need version 6.1.7 to run the automatic upgrading routine. (?) Any ideas? Can anybody help?

Extract the files. Don't run the exe inside the unzip program.

Having a heck of a time.


First of all, I am being prompted for about 50 or 60 files that "are in use." Next, even after extracting, I only have one file. Inside the .zip folder are two, but the second one will not open at all. Even if I browse to its path, I get a Windows pop-up asking me if I want to check the Store for a program that will open it. I need a break. Will try again later.

richfed, if you're going that route (which I did), when you get the Windows Store popup just close it or hit enter (I can't remember which I did). The install then continued and completed. As far as files in use, make sure OOB is closed, not running, that I did not see at all during install.

I finally had success. I ended up creating a new folder to unzip to. I installed from the .exe file in that new folder and *presto* - INSTALLED! Pays off to do things when your mind is focused.

I also finally managed to get the Upgrade done and the game is running. Thank you very much for your help.

I can't get the upgrade to download fully. It keeps cutting out on me. Is this a known problem? I ordered the disk as well. Is the upgrade on the disk? Very frustrating.

In fact I click on the upgrade and it keeps taking me back to the upgrade page.
