Carryover forces

Post by b52pilot1 »

I’m not sure which games can use carryover forces. I know Panzerkrieg can use the core force from Blitzkrieg, but what other games can use carryovers?
Can Rising Sun use the core force from Morning Sun?
Can Sandstorm use the core force from Blitzkrieg?
Can Panzerkrieg use the core force from Sandstorm?

It looks like the new Endkrieg can use the core force from either Panzerkrieg or Sandstorm...very cool.

Carryover forces improves the replayability in my opinion.

In the current version 6.1.9, there are three campaigns where cores can be imported from previous campaigns, as indicated by the highlighted arrows. The next version, 7.something, will provide for "new Endkrieg can use the core force from either Panzerkrieg or Sandstorm" as you read in the announcement. Whatever else remains to be seen.

I wonder if it will only be the German core forces that are carried over from Sandstorm or if there will be significant Italian participation in the Ardennes offensive, etc.

So, how do you actually import a core force from Blitzkrieg to Panzerkrieg? I finished Blitzkrieg, but can't figure out how to get that core into Panzerkrieg. Any suggestions?

What Gabe is showing you is that you first save the core from Blitzkrieg someplace by exporting it. Then when you start Panzerkrieg you should see an opportunity to import the core by navigating to where you saved it. I believe the default location is this:

You are absolutely right as usual Bru, also is that when you finish Blitzkrieg, panzerkrieg and other campaigns that allow carryover forces you will be asked by the game if you want to save your core.

Thnak you all for the responses! It's obvious now that I see the "Export Core" button. I don't know why I didn't see it before but I must've tried to carryover forces a dozen times before I came to the forums.
