Mods are one thing, a fully featured professional campaign is quite another

Making amateur scenarios is a very thankless activity...

Re: FUTURE of ORDER OF BATTLE
another new record for how long to next dlc ?
Maybe for some reasons, Slitherine has cut down staffs for Dlcs ?
Well it's reasonable if OoB is coming to its life span. Allied trilogy can be the last one then they can move to finish PC2 or even... OoB 2 ?
Guys, any good games like this type that i can take a look while waiting for new PC2 and OoB's Dlcs ?

The xbox version has just been released, there is still the PS4 version. It seems to me that is easier to adapt a PC game on xbox(Microsoft) than on PS4.
Re: FUTURE of ORDER OF BATTLE
Just got the Xbox version . PSYCHED to play this on my 65” LG OLED . There are a few issues however . The biggest bug is that supply doesn’t show up when you hit On the D pad . Also I think it would be great if there was a DLC bundle , right now it would be $220+ to buy the game and all DLC . That’s way to expensive for a game not designed for console .
Re: FUTURE of ORDER OF BATTLE
My guess is that this commander will be holding the Torch in the next campaign
(there are also a few other Allied commanders waiting to be christened).

Re: FUTURE of ORDER OF BATTLE
Finally! Someone to take the burden of commanding U.S. ground forces off the shoulders of this lonely brigadier:
For six long years, about the length of the actual war, this poor fellow has been called upon time and again to lead (brief) his men into battle. It was that, or have Sgt. Chapman briefing his superiors, even those who were not fellow Marines.
And this other guy can drop his masquerading as an officer now. His only claim to prominence was looking somewhat authoritative. This profile shot obscures whether he has stars or bars on his helmet, and those on his collars would have been removed as a precaution against snipers, of course.

Re: FUTURE of ORDER OF BATTLE
Some new specs or mechanics would be nice. And I mean some new ones. Really new ones.
Unlocking units into the player's roster is not new. Specs giving more command points is not new.
The last innovation in OoB was the Soviet infantry "guards mechanic". Wow.
And fix the (naval) graphics and the known unit bugs finally, please.

Re: FUTURE of ORDER OF BATTLE
I would love to see some alternate history lines. AKA What if series of scenarios among others.
Examples:
For the US/UK - Invade North Africa or send troops to England for an early invasion of Europe.
- Invade Sicily then Southern Italy or Sardina/Crocica then choose between invading 1) Italy around Massa to Livorino or 2) Southern France Operation Dragoon style.
For the US/UK - Plan B - Patton's plan to push eastward from Normandy and not Monty's "A bridge too Far" aka Operation Market Garden. Patton heads toward Saarbruken, Kaiserlauten then crossing the Rhine at Mannheim. The UK Paras help hold the bridges on the Saar with the US Paras in reserve for taking the bridges over the Rhine.
For Germany
- Operation Sea Lion.
- Later Barbarossa after England is tamed.
- Early Barbarossa allowing Hungary to help the Italians instead.
For All
And maybe a smaller set of scenarios that require completion of the first then setting up/exiting map in preparation for the one in a series. This requires good supply lines and keeping troops healthy enough for the next battle. Maybe on the Corps level?
And for much later scenarios for more modern battles (Korea, Vietnam series) or earlier battles in World War I using OOB.

Re: FUTURE of ORDER OF BATTLE
A campaign for some lesser-known or overlooked faction would be a nice change of pace. A campaign for Italy, Hungary, or Romania, for example.

We should make addons about French Indochina or Korea ! In general, I wanted something modern, and that the theme of the movie and the Germans boring

Re: FUTURE of ORDER OF BATTLE
Indochina and Korea war are suitable.
The fact is, both side mostly used equipments from WW2 era, except for air battles of first gen jet at Korea sky.
But Indochina war is, well, unblanced. Vietnam side had merely no armor, aircraft and long range arty. Mechanic about capturing enemy weaponry and + range for arty on hill, is of Panzer Corps 2 instead.

I would like to see the Commonwealth equivalent to Sandstorm as a stand alone DLC.
