I can't see how this would do any harm as the Allies play next to each other in the turn cycle and are not split by the German AI turn, hence I can't see how merging them would impact the game-play or balance.
You can switch control of all the units to one player without problems, but removing the second human player may mess up (reinforcements or reward) triggers.

But you can try, it may work. And if it doesn't, you can always "revert" to the original state by downloading the scen again.

That is correct. Many years ago.
My M-G involvement started with a very detailed version for The Operational Theater of War.
I've based all my later versions on that researched-to-death version.

BTW, I just posted the single player scenario in the scenario forum.

Vichy vs Free French

Post by Erik2 »

A very, very minor issue.
I just finished a custom scenario with both Free French and Vichy factions and noticed that the FF playback uses the French flag.
It would be better to use the Lorraine flag.

Is Vichy meant to be in this thread Erik? :)

Yes, the screenshot is a Free French playback, but the game is using the old (now Vichy) flag.
If that is what you meant...

Just tried, "Baukommando Becker" seemed to work fine for me. What part is not working for you?

Thats because it's linked to "Beutepanzer" right above, hence the arrow between them. You need to activate "Beutepanzer" first to be able to select "Baukommando B."

Same for other specs that show those arrows -- you need to have the one on top of the arrow as prerequisite for those coming later.

Thanks ! I completely forgot about this!
Is there a solution to my second question?
Unfortunately, I am a beginner in this game.

Thank you for your help.
Does this work for another campaign?
Comment: Air defense and strategic bomber units find it difficult to gain experience points.
Each air defense unit should be able to attack ground units. This was also the status in the war !

In theory yes but not yet for all units.

For some units yes but not sure this is still a good idea because of AI.

What do you mean? The AI can handle switch modes.

My further comments:
1. /Waffen ss units : do not have camouflage painting.
When shopping, they start with 0 experience ( 1943 !! ) !
Unfortunately, the Wh specifications do not apply to them.
2./ Why can't I buy Marder units? (Panzerkrieg, Endsieg), These were important units!
3./ Strategic bombers should be given a more important role.
4./ Sd.kfz 10/4, 7/1, 7/2, 2 cm Flakwierling can also attack ground units.

This is a very good game, I think the modifications would further improve the game.
The game should be as close to reality as possible.
(Sandstorm allows the purchase of Bf 109F aircraft at departure. However, they only appeared in North Africa on 09.1941. I/II JG 27 .
Therefore, the purchase of the Bf 109E should also be allowed. )
Sorry for the incomplete English.

Easy to correct.

This is because in official campaigns, WaffenSS are already a specialization and not a faction.

Baukommando Becker Specialisation.

I always have one in stock that I’ve learned to use.
