Cohesion States

Doing some research for an article on wargamer.com.

Can someone define exactly how each Cohesion State impacts a unit? Loss of APs, etc?

Can said impacts be altered, modified or dispensed with entirely? Can an individual Cohesion State be dispensed with entirely (say, eliminate fractured and go directly from Disordered to Rout)?

In which file is this data/script/code located?

Thanks.

Off the top of my head:

Disruption:
Reduces combat power.
Gives a -1 modifier on future cohesion tests.

Fragmentation:
Reduces combat power further.
Gives -2 modifier on future cohesion tests.
Halves unit AP.
May negate some POAs - see manual.

Broken:
Units runs away.
Gives -3 modifier on cohesion tests to try to rally.
Unit has no combat power.

If you wanted to eliminate a cohesion state entirely you would need to make alterations to at least the MoraleUpdate() and CohesionTest() functiond in MoraleTools.BSF.

If you wanted to alter the effects of cohesion states you would need to make alterations all over the place. Since the vanilla Cohesion system is fundamental to the game system, no attempt has been made to encapsulate its code in one place.
