It converts the FoGR tabletop Army lists to Pike and Shot.
It is limited to the French Army (1623-1634) for lack of time.
You will be able to play with two French Armies 1623-1634 :
1) The Vanilla one with ‘French’ names (13 units). Purely cosmetic.
2) A ‘FoGR’ one with 25 custom units :
- Modifications of existing units :
- Specific names
- Pikemen of the Average French P&S and the Veteran ones are armoured
- Two units of Arkebusiers : one armoured, one unarmoured
- Average Kurassiers added
- Dragoons are replaced with early dragoons
- Two units of Horses : one armoured, one unarmoured
- All mounted arquebusiers are unarmoured
- One new French unit : Enfants perdus led by King’s Musketeers (Superior detached musketeers)
- Units from Swedish allies (only in 1632) :
- Swedish Commanded Shot
- Swedish Salvo Foot
- Veteran Lätta ryttare : Superior Finnish armoured horse
- Finnish Hakkapelita : Elite Cavaliers
- Swedish 24-pdr (heavy) gun
- Units from Savoyard allies (only 1625-1626) :
- Dragoons
- Hussars
- Large Kurassiers
- Units from Mantuan allies (only 1628-1631) : Bandelier Reiter
Costs are a mix of FoGR and P&S. Might certainly be improved.
Two versions : in French, in English.
Here is the link to the Mod : http://www.mediafire.com/file/b1485w5gx ... d.rar/file
Installation:
1) Click on the link and download.
2) You will probably find the downloaded 4France_1623_1634_Mod.rar file in your Downloads folder. Extract it to produce the 4France_1623_1634_Mod folder.
3) Cut and paste the 4France_1623_1634_Mod folder into My Documents/My Games/PSCAMP/CAMPAIGNS.
Don’t put this mod in your main game build.
To play :
Click on ‘Skirmish’, then on ‘Change Campaign’.
Choose ‘France 1623-1632 Mod.’
Choose between the two Armies. The 'Vanilla' Army is at its place. The 'FoGR' one is at the end of the Army list after the Weimarian 1635-1643.
Note
This mod would be more interesting (and balanced) with all the Armies modded. And it would be easier to fix costs. However I found it interesting to test the diversity it adds to a given army. Enjoy!
