Droppods

Post by bram1979 »

How do they work ingame? Is it the same as on the TT? Hold the unit in reserve and the droppods can land anywhere on the map?

There no deepstrike rules in the game ( :-( ). Drop-Pods are basically stationary units.
With scripts you could spawn them over the course of the game on the battlefield. Just how it has been done in the campaign.

I also think, that if on the field where you spawn the unit is already preoccupied then it's the former unit that gets overwritten by the spawned one. But not sure about this.

Yes, there is no special trait to give Droppods any kind of special functionality at this time.
