New monitor = new installation?

Post by Irlandos »

I had to give up my old monitor for a smaller one.
Now, CEAW will not play properly. Sides and bottom have been chopped off!
I was able to adjust my other games (CTGW etc.) in their Options menu but not CEAW.

Must I re-install CEAW??? :(

Which game resolution did you use before and which resolution do you use now? Which hertz are you running your monitor on? Try to set a mode with 59 Hz or 60 Hz.

In the gs400settings.txt file in your c:\...\documents\CEAW Grand Strategy 4.00 folder you can set the high resolution mode:

If you delete the files in your documents folder you can setup the game settings again when you start the game.

HIGH_RESOLUTION 2

Can be used for 1920x1080 resolution
