Hi,
I am getting a couple of problems. One is that after i start the game the first possibly 1 or 2 popups I can read but after that it's like part of the text is obscured by an overlaid rectangle of background color. I can't read any text popups after this happens. I also posted this on matrix forum.

Re: popup text covered/not readable
Second problem (I think this is a problem but not sure) is that the part at the bottom middle doesn't show the full U.S. start, it's covered (half) by a black/grey bar). Is this supposed to happen? I don't know if it's a big deal but am posting it in case it's related to the first problem.
Re: popup text covered/not readable
The second one is ok, that's how the UI looks there, regardless which flag is there.
The first one is clearly wrong, that should not happen. Thx for reporting.

Re: popup text covered/not readable
i forgot to attach files as mentioned in debug thread post. there was no log file. I looked while game was running and after game shut down as instructed. But here are other files. dxdiag and settings.

Re: popup text covered/not readable
Are you playing with the 2D World Map option ?
Re: popup text covered/not readable
Good question. I just checked and I did have 2D World Map option selected. Should I try with another option instead? I don't even know what 3d World Map and 3D Tactical Map options mean but I'll try one of those instead.

By default, you should play with 3D World Map. I also have problems with messages playing with 2D World Map option selected.
