Black screen/return to desktop while playing

Hi
My technically problem is as follows:
After installing the newest patch 5.2.9 I have problems playing Panzerkrieg starting in scenarie 10 “Operation Star”.
I can start OOB and deploy my forces without any problems but when I click finish to end my turn and AI (the soviets) take over and are executing its turn the problems start.
Suddenly after a minute or so my screen goes black and then return to desktop.
I can hear the fighting are continuing in my speakers.
I cannot process any other programs until I shot the game down in Task Manager (my OS is win10 pro 64 bit and I have used the 64bit update)
CPU is Intel i5-3470 3.20 GHz, 16 GB RAM and GPU is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti
When I return to the game after a restart, I can continue the game if I load the gamesave “end turn” and see the result of the AI actions and then make my moves.
After clicking finish my turn the same happens again (black screen, return to desktop etc.) and completely ruin the joy of my game.
Can anyone help me to solve this problem, which I never have had before?

PS. I can play custom scenarias/campaigns and previously scenarias in blitz- and panzerkrieg without any problems

Please do the following:
Delete the Settings folder that can be found in the Windows documents folder at:
...\Documents\My Games\Order of Battle - Pacific
Run the game and check if the issue persists.
can you try this and see if it corrects the issue, thanks and sorry for your issue

Well it lasted not for long only one turn
Now all OOB scenaries and campaigns are affected :cry:

as the issue is related with tech support you can contact support@slitherine.co.uk and then they will support you with the error.

and as much detail as you can, and they will try there best to find a working solution, it may involve uninstalling and reinstalling with a given method etc.
