Access violation - Blitzkrieg

Post by Irlandos » Sat May 26, 2018 1:09 pm

I installed Blitzkrieg and have had trouble ever since:
The game keeps freezing on me and, today, it altogether crashed with a message about Access violation:

sorry for your issue, might be an idea to post a report as well,

How to get a DirectX Diagnostic file:

1. click on "START"
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments rather than pasted into the body of the post.

once the report has been made, just attach it to your post with first adding the file to a zip, which is then permitted to attach to the forum

any reasons your using a escrow Windows Insider build of windows as a full version of windows?

Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 16299) (16299.rs3_release_svc_escrow.180502-1908)

latest released none beta none preview or fast track build version is,
Windows 10 Home Single Language 64-bit (10.0, Build 17134) (17134.rs4_release.180410-1804)
i'm sorry to say, there is no support for preview or none alpha / beta or pre released versions of windows

i can give you a clue,

Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU N4200 @ 1.10GHz (4 CPUs), ~1.1GHz (is the lowest cut down cpu made for low end laptops out on the market atm) at around about half the speed of a low end I5u which is also made for laptops, add in the fact at working in a laptop is runs even slower on batteries, so unless plugged in and also not run on default, which as on default in windows 10, 7 and 8 btw also slows down the cpu in laptops, boot up and net use is imo as much as the hardware will do, low end games at most as with no dedi card for GPU, it's just imo too low end

Memory: 4096MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 3920MB RAM

Card name: Intel(R) HD Graphics
Display Memory: 2088 MB
Dedicated Memory: 128 MB too low
Shared Memory: 1960 MB which leave windows, a 64bit version with less than 2GB for itself to run, add in the low end CPU trying and struggling to do both the GPU and CPU, i'm surprised it worked at all tbh i'm sorry to say
Current Mode: 1366 x 768 (32 bit) (60Hz)
Product Requirements :
WOS: XP/ Vista/ 7/ 8 /10
Processor: Pentium 4 or equivalent
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Graphics: 512 Mb DirectX 11 video card with shader model 2.0
DirectX: Version 9.0c
Hard Drive: 1 GB available space
Sound Card: DirectX compatible sound card
