Re: Current Bugs - Version 7.1.8
Most distressing. I was enjoying the games tremendously and along came v.7.1.8. It dumped all my saved games and progress. Now the vehicles are misshapen. AND now, ever the updated trainer I was using by Cheat Happens won't work; it just locks the game up. Nothing worse than riding around in armor on the battlefield that looks like a melted plastic toy or mutilated, pacified hulk with no barrel.
Please DEVs! You made a wonderful game. Please fix this so we can all enjoy it once again.
Cheers!

Its really easy ! if they dont correct the game - I payed over 120,-€ for all DLC#s they get a criminal complaint for breach of contract ! I wrote with the steam guys - and they told me that they consider to give back the money on 1st July - if the game isnt upgraded - you should do that also in this way.

Re: Current Bugs - Version 7.1.8
I hate to keep pushing this because it should not be necessary, it is not the right thing to have to do (although it does work - at least for me), and I am not official by any means. But in lieu of an official response as to when this might be corrected, I reiterate this suggestion:
http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtop ... 05#p785191
I am currently on this regimen for another reason [my editors are unstable in 7.1.6 and 7.1.8] but at least my units are not graphically decimated. Proceed at your own risk.
Note: I am fully aware that this may not work at all for Steam users because they usually have no control over updates.

Construction Site :
There was a counter previously very useful :
At present ( 7.1.8 ), the counter has disappeared and it is no longer known how many turns remain to complete the construction :

If a Recon Unit is on a hexagon with a Location, it becomes difficult to read its Unit Strength Points in the field (superposition with the Location name Dachang):

Re: Current Bugs - Version 7.1.8
I have the impression that they took the bug database "private" in favor of the "The new bug submission process" with Adam or somebody triaging the issues posted there and updating the database themselves. It probably got a bit unwieldy with a bunch of people having access to the database and the developer put a stop to it. Access to the database is no longer provided in the Order of Battle Bug Submissions subforum, that I can see.

I think we already reported enough bugs to fix for one year.

Apparently by invitation or prior bookmarking only because I am a forum moderator and yet I see no sign of it in this forum. Not that I'm complaining - who, me? - because I think the current arrangement is fine. As long as there is a Slitherine person actively engaged in the triage process, that is.

Re: Current Bugs - Version 7.1.8
Which one? In recent times, the procedure has been to correct bugs with the patch that comes out with a new DLC, if one is forthcoming soon. Red Star is on its way, and it's been reported in beta that among other things, they "Fixed graphical artefacts on 3D units" if that is what you mean.Sonderbehandlung wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2019 12:06 pm It's mid july ... is there any update on this bug?

Correct, that's the one I mean. Is there any info, when Red Star will be out? The game isn't playable for me in the current state.bru888 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2019 4:33 pm Which one? Hi,
I've just installed the Battle of Britain mod, and get the loading screen without the "Continue" button in both maps.
Thank you for your help,
Raine

Raine, make sure you are updated to 7.1.8. BoB was broken in 7.1.4 and fixed in 7.1.6 or 7.1.8.

Thanks, it is working now, didn't work with the previous beta.

Re: Current Bugs - Version 7.1.8
Whoa, are you saying that you were temporarily advanced to 8.0.4 on Steam and were not able to play BoB? Now you can, being back on 7.1.8? If so, that means BoB will once again be broken with the next patch.

Battle of Britain Mod not working currently with 8.0.4 but indicated in OOB Red Star - Beta Test Bug Report.
