1v1 Petsamo-Kirkenes updated to v1.2
Replaced (fairly useless...) Soviet guardships with destroyers.
Added Soviet spawned construction groups when German airstrips are captured.
Added Finnish and Soviet commanders for assignment (sorry, no Germans available yet).
Replaced a few German coastal batteries with land fortresses and redeployed some German structures.
Added more German land mines to the initial frontline and redeployed a couple of Soviet engineer units.
Added strong hint to German briefing: start withdrawing immediately!!! (Balois trapped the bulk of my defending Germans in a current playtest, and I did the same to Brenmusik's Feldgrau )

I agree with the replacement of the guard ships. I just moved them around as they had no real function. Making the German front line more stiff should allow for an orderly withdrawal. Once you surrender I will be happy to tryout the new 1.2 update.

Operation Olympic 1945 updated to v2.1
Fixed a few Jap & US reinforcement bugs.
Removed US construction groups. When the US captures one of the seven Jap airstrips, a construction group is spawned at the location.
Much more variety in the kamikaze air units.
US & Jap commanders available for assignment.
Increased the number of turns from 35 to 70 (daily turns).

Issues:
Seems like Jap air commanders may not be assigned to kamikaze air units (I have removed them).
Jap naval commanders may be assigned to suicide boats/subs if they are in port.
Edit: I just realized it was pretty stupid to mine Jap harbors since this means you can't assign naval commanders...
I've relocated the mines in v2.1

While stationed (US Army) in Japan in the late 90's I visited the main airbase where the Kamikaze pilots flew from. There was a museum and one of the exhibits discussed that the Admiral who ran the program, actually piloted a plane in one of the last Kamikaze raids. So surprised that leaders are not allowed to be assigned to Kamikaze air units. Probably a game issue rather than being historically correct.

Most/all units are deployable in the deployment phase.
Open the Force list and click on the land/sea/air icons on top of the list.
