Re: Erik's Multiplayer scenarios
Really impressed with the latest Operation Olympic. I've been taking a fair number of casualties playing as the UK, and ran out of requisition points for the aircraft. Which is as it should be! Just that one little issue with the objectives not being displayed for my side, I notice the other players have said they're not having any problems. I forget who was playing as Japan but they indicated a preference for two Japanese players. No objections to that.
Re: Erik's Multiplayer scenarios
Glad you have some Olympic fun, Karis.
The max number of players are 4, and I think 3 US players taking command on the 3 main invasion beaches fits well.
So no room for more Japanese players in the current game engine.

Re: Erik's Multiplayer scenarios
I didn't seem to remember any 3 vs 2 games, now I know why. If it were two versus two it would be a bit awkward like you say, with the centre being muddled between the allied players. Also checking the Konrad stuff from the soviet side for the first time, I'm relieved they don't get rps every turn. I was afraid it was just the axis that had to conserve things.

The Kokoda Track campaign was the pivotal battle in the long struggle for control of New Guinea.
In this phase the Japanese tried to force the Owen Stanley Range mountains to seize Port Moresby as part of a strategy to isolate Australia from the United States. The campaign was fought over very difficult terrain with scarcely any roads and both sides had serious supply problems.
Hi folks, and firstly congrats for this another amazing scenario, but I'm very sad as I'm just hitting finish turn button and game just not send turn for my opponent. I've sent a screen to try to show finish turn button blank and nothing happens... Any help appreciated.

Re: Erik's Multiplayer scenarios
Tested the latest version '1v1 Papua - New Guinea v8.3' in hot-seat mode. Works fine for me.
Maybe one of you got a corrupted download (or the server is acting up again...)?

Thanks for the answer. will try to restart scenario to check it!
Re: Papua - New Guinea
Please Erik, can you send link for old versions of this scenario? As I played it in the past normally, and again in a second Multiplayer try with 8.3 version I got a freeze in 4th Alleis Turn.Erik2 wrote: ↑Fri May 01, 2015 8:21 am Papua - New Guinea, August 26th 1942.

Re: Erik's Multiplayer scenarios
Sorry, but I do not keep old versions of scenarios.
Re: Erik's Multiplayer scenarios
I have investigated the Papua issue (changes to reinforcements and objectives), but I can't find anything wrong with the scenario.
This is a real issue though, so I have removed the download link to the scenario for now.

Re: Erik's Multiplayer scenarios
I rather liked the aquatic railroad in Gothic Line... Anyway noticed something funny in War in the Pacific 1 vs 1. Every now and then coastal guns pop up of their own accord. I didn't mind when one appeared in Hong Kong, but the one in Brunei is on top of the airfield. That puts a pretty substantial dent in things, and it can't be disbanded either. They're always half strength and adjacent to existing coastal guns. Interesting.

Another awesome and gorgeous scenario with authentic attention with OOBs like Brazilians in this front, what's correct with historical OOB. Going ahead to replay it. Thank you so much.Erik2 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 05, 2021 3:05 pm 2v1 Gothic Line 1944 2.3

I am removing the very old 1v1 War in the Pacific and will move an updated 2v2 War in the Pacific 2.5 to the MicroMod.

Ack, maybe I shouldn't have complained as I quite like the 1 vs 1

Re: Erik's Multiplayer scenarios
A mod includes changes to the default stats and may include new stuff like units, commanders etc.
It does not affect the base game in any way. The mod is like its own mini-game.
All scenarios/campaigns included in the mod resides in the mods scenario/campaign folders.

Re: Erik's Multiplayer scenarios
I recently played Market Garden 1 vs 1 for the first time, and have to say the Germans felt a bit overpowered. Does anyone else get this impression? To be fair I put most of my air force in the south, but even if I deployed them all in the north I don't think it would have helped much. I'm used to the 2 vs 2 version, so maybe that's colouring my perspective. Ended up with everything in the north wiped out completely long before the southern force got close, and even they ran into a wall of tanks, anti-air and infantry all heavily dug in on the other side of a river. So that was the end of that...
