Hi Erik, when you decide new version of GGC I hope you will add italian units in eastern front, specially in Stalingrad/Don battles... I hope we can revive little Saturn battle and Nikolaevska battle where italian Alpini corp and other Armir had big importance...

I've been waiting for more Italian units (which will be provided in Sandstorm).
So I plan to continue the campaign and will of course add any Italains present in the original PzC scenarios.

From what I have read the Germany Grand Campaign will not be continued into 43, 44 and 45?

Why is that?

I think it is outstanding work, especially with the various strategies possible, that is one thing I prefer in OOB in general and in your campaigns especially! Let me thoroughly thank you for your work.

Let me also assure the developers that allowing users to create such campaigns does not deter me from buying every single official DLC that has come out so far and probably will not in the future.

Now, I would really love to lead my core units from the GCC (or any other GC for that matter) into the later years of the war, this was what made the PC GCs so special.

Any chance?

Where did you read that? I have written somewhere that I wdo not have time to update the original sparate campaigns.

I plan to continue this campaign until I have covered all the original German PzC campaigns.
But the lack of unit types for certain factions sometimes stop the progress until a new official campaign is published.
Also there is a limit of the number of scenarios accessible in the campaign editor, a simple oversight that I hope will be fixed soon.

I think the limit of the number of scenarios is what brought me to that conclusion. I saw you mentioning this in some thread and figured that this is why there will not be any additions to the campaign.

Very happy to hear that is not the case!

Again, thanks for your work.

The German Grand Campaign starts fine.
Sorry, but I can't help you with why a saved file does not work.
Try restarting the scenario aftrer you have loaded the save.

German Grand Campaign v2.2

Post by Erik2 » Thu May 17, 2018 6:59 pm

There's a small update to the German Grand Campaign in the first post.
I have done some edits to the branching making sure it will continue and end in a normal matter.
Note that there are a few scenarios left out in the current branching due to issues with the campaign editor unable to handle more than 25-30 scenarios.
When this is fixed I'll add the remaining scenarios.

German Grand Campaign v2.2

Post by Erik2 » Sat May 19, 2018 2:15 pm

I replaced my old monitor with a 4K-version yesterday.
And lo & behold, I can now access the rest of the East front-42 scenarios due to the increased resolution.
And it looks like there are room for more scenarios, so maybe I can the PzC fit East front-43 campaign as well.
I have also replaced the Italian air and naval units with proper ones.
Updated link in first post.

michacey

Thanks.
It is allowed to ask for a temporary transfer to North Africa
Sandstorm is a good campaign in my opinion and plays quite differently from the other official campaigns.

Erik's work has been one of the best things that has happened to me in a long time. As a result, my OOB play time has gone over 3000 hours! I wish there was some better way we could thank him.

Hi Erik
I really enjoy playing your campaigns :D
Is it possible you can make a version of Wacht am Rhein, where we can play as the americans :?:
I'm looking forward to have a go with Dessert Rats as soon as my Sandstorm Campaign finish

A Bulge campaign would have to be created from scratch as I try to find scenarios that use the same formations as core units.
I have no plans to do this (yet).

First Erik You make great campaigns! Great work!

I have problem with Germany Grand Campaign (1939-42) v2.2, mission Dunkerque. There is english gunboat on one of inland hexs (right down side of the map).

I have a request, too . Map mission Dunkerque. It is possible to remove starting 5 german schnelboot, give player 10 naval command points (one schnelboot = 2 naval command points) and 5 naval deploy hexes, so player have possibility to use this oun ships? Can you do this? Please.
