It will look like this:

Evacuation units will generate in the towns marked with green circles, and those vehicles will proceed to the border checkpoints marked with red circles, trying to escape into China:

Good news: The map looks beautiful to these tired eyes.
Minor bad news: I use a lot of decorations. These apparently slow down the loading of the scenario, especially on a big map like this (80 x 40 pixels).
Good news: The map does load, eventually.

It's up there now if you want to take a closer look at it and gauge the loading time.

Also, I have the campaign fully mapped out now as to the story line, right through to the end with the victory messages. There may be a few more if inspiration strikes but these campaign messages now complete the story. (The only one that is not finished is the wrap-up about de Gaulle and his later life. I will attend to that soon.)

Same version number, 0.61.

Thanks, but, uh, there seems to be a small problem of updating the link, as it does not seem to me that the map is visible for the moment... :?

Anyway, it should load without too much trouble. And the loading time will also be influenced by the number of units present when it's ready - I can safely wait until it's ready to be tested.

Sorry, my mistake. You could try again now but only if you are curious about the map; that is, how it looks, not how it loads. (It takes between 15-30 seconds, depending on how "fresh" your current program iteration is; when you have been running OOB for a while, it seems to lead a bit of memory, slowing things down a bit.)

Indeed, it's a great looking map! :D

And there will be some cool side naval action, very nice. :D Of course, you've already planned to add red arrows for the "Don't lose any border crossing town" obj sec.

Yes, for example, having to think about aviation (location of airfields/airstrips) and some famous "citadels" (Hanoi and Lang Son in any case). And perhaps naming the biggest lake as well.

Before you get the wrong idea, this message follows the "Rusty, Inexperienced" message:

So the player does have some competitive tools.

Ah, Flying Tigers! :P

Considering the number of French planes available at the start, I believe that  we would need at least 3 units of P-51 Mustangs, what do you think? :?:
Of course, they could be named "Flying Tigers".
