Utilixing artifact, anomalies etc

It says in the (poor) manual '...click on them (an image in a box), then clicking on their larger image on the side'. This I've tried and nothing happens. I had a scout try it with 400 cargo space, nothing. Built a larger freight type with 1800 cargo again nothing.

The one I'm trying to do is aceess a space anomaly and the help says I need a container transport module. Is this the same as the standard caontainers that you get my default or something special?

I've so many questions wiyh this game that could be answered if the manual contained them. Frustrating!

Artifacts are "unwrapped" by clicking a question mark on the left of ship's interface (if the ship has a container). Might not work in presence of enemy ships.
