Final game

TGM win vs Kiwiwarlord 35-65

Our troops took advantage of a meandering sewer trench bisecting the map and shot up the superior Samurai troops with our newfangled “gonnes”

Good games all, see you in Korea!!

LDFLM wins vs TGM 59 to 60 dohhh What can I say, I hate the Ickies and their hordes that bounce off every attack :)
I was so sure I was going to lose at one point that I even congratulated TGM on his victory :D

Cedric, you are much too good with your monks and peasants. Having been battered by them this time, I sympathise with my team mate. We samurai prefer more honorable (ie winnable) combats :)

I am sure the Buddha would urge compassion to the opposing team and offer them the points Cedric. After all, our need is great :(

Well, I actually think the Joseon list is very good for beating the Japanese, so there's that silver lining. Though perhaps mine is a minority opinion on that.

The Tokyo express reported this morning that;

Hatamoto Gyabin, loyal retainer of Kiui-gun lord of Team Tori has the pleasure to report his clan's victory against the shogunate Usagi usurpers minion fybyyn - Oda 1573-82 in an end of match score of 52-27

GDod - Uesugi (1572-1574) defeats - (Oda 1573-82) 52 - 27%

It was not Oda's day on the field despite an honorable fight to the last with his heavy samurai still fending off multiple attacks.

And that's it for Round One, a glorious if narrow victory to the Emperor and his minions of Team Tori. Now to the next phase...
