New Unique, Historical Hero Idea

I had an idea for a future DLC and wondered what you guys thought of it: Cool idea, or no, dumb and who cares?

Just as you were giving a choice of attributes for Rudel, how about if you had instead a choice of hero?

What I mean by that is lets say you are going to be awarded a unique, historical fighter hero. But a window pops up and you choose which prefabricated hero you want. For example, you could choose between Wilhelm Batz, Gerd Barkhorn, or Gunther Rall. They could either all have the same bonuses, so it would be just a flavor thing, or different preset bonuses (my preference) allowing the player to decide which he/she prefers. Hopefully it would a difficult decision and not one where the choice would be obvious as to who's better. This could be applied to a Panzer Ace too.
