Conversion factor of FOGII to Empires

Post by fractious_celt »

Hi

Sorry if something similar has been posted before. In short, I like to play Empires using FoGII but have noticed that when very large battles take place FoGII defaults to a small number of very large units, which makes for a bit of a boring game. I have tried playing with the conversion factors and trying to match the opposing forces, where possible. Nothing helps. Any suggestions?

The conversion factor does scale when the battles are very large. This was to prevent performance and other issues that can occur when there are very large numbers of units on the battlefield in FOG2.
