This podcast is about the history of wargaming from an American perspective - the presenter says that his favourite computer game is Field of Glory 2. https://www.dancarlin.com/addendum/

Was expecting a podcast about wargaming but about 80% of it was an interview with the designer of a first person shooter, also unless I missed it he never actually mentions FOG 2 by name.

He does mention it by name, but only once. Yes it's mostly an interview with a game designer, but that's the second part of the programme, you can miss that part. It sounds like Fury of War is not a simple first person shooter, you have to work in a team of up to 50 players and if you die, you get put into a non-combat role like running a supply line.
