Kerait defeats Scorched (Campanian v Bruttian/Lucanian) 64-42
This bloody battle between two Italic peoples raged for the control of two hillocks. The Bruttian veteran Italian foot (which I lacked, having hoplites instead) hit hard, but somehow I managed to seize the peaks of the hills and envelop the Bruttian left flank with my right wing. I'd say it was a pretty close game. GG!

Regular Division 2
rs2excelsior (Roman 219-200 BC) beat GeneralKostas (Roman 340-281 BC) 60-35
It was an interesting battle between two very similar army lists - both pre-Marian Romans. I had a slight numbers advantage and more medium foot (but no real rough terrain to take advantage of that), while my opponent had more veteran hastatii/principes, which they used to weight their right flank. I placed my own veterans more in the center-right of my line. My right attacked the weaker enemy left, while my own left flank hung back to delay the hammer-blow that would come from his veterans. Our identical cavalry forces (two units of Roman cav) met on the left and mine were defeated pretty quickly, with one routed and the other desperately trying to stay ahead of pursuit, but the enemy cavalry chased mine around the back of the field rather than coming back in and hitting me in the flank or rear. I managed to rout the enemy left and center before my own left became heavily engaged, and though the enemy veterans were making headway, reinforcements were coming and beginning to roll them up.
Good game to my opponent - had those veterans gotten in the fight earlier, or your left held on for longer, we might be telling a very different story right about now!

Division 1 regular
TomoeGozen (Ostrogothic 493-561 AD) defeats General Shapur (Roman 105-25 BC) 57 - 23.
The Romans were tough to kill but the manouverability of the mounted Ostrogoths eventually allowed us to wear the Romans down once their flanks were exposed.
Thanks to General Shapur for a good game. It was a tough matchup for the Romans on a fairly open battlefield.

rbodleyscott (Jewish) defeated Deeter (Atropatene) 55:24.
Unfortunately this matchup should have been against Delbruck, so I presume the match is void, and Deeter needs to challenge me with the correct armies.
(I have succeeded in introducing an extra element of chaos to the tournament).

RBS: really? All that for no result? Since I lost, I suppose that's fine and I did enjoy shooting up your people.
